Each spring the gardens rise to their peak. The bursting of the buds and new leaves are rewarded with masses of tulips, azaleas, rhododendrons and all manner of rare plants.

Forest Glade includes a stunning bluebell patch and an equally impressive daffodil lawn that bursts into life during spring. by @forestgladegardens

Spring is one of our favourite times of year at Forest Glade Gardens, with colour appearing throughout the gardens and something new to discover around every corner.

Visitor V. Cronin recently shared these beautiful photos from their visit, along with this lovely Google review:

Another piece of history hidden amongst the gardens.

Huntsman and Dogs bears the name of French sculptor A. Jacquemart, known for his detailed animal sculptures during the 19th century.

The huntsman and his hounds make an impressive sight amongst the trees at Forest Glade, and are another example of how sculpture brings history, art and a sense of discovery into the garden.

Statues have been used in gardens for thousands of years, from the ancient Greeks and Romans through to the grand gardens of Europe. They have long been a way of bringing art, storytelling and mythology into the natural landscape.

You’ll find many statues tucked throughout Forest Glade Gardens, each adding its own character and sense of discovery.

Oh how wonderful it is to experience Autumn season. 🍂

We went to @visitmacedonranges for two reasons:
🍁 It’s just an hour away from Melbourne
🍁 And for the stunning Autumn season

There are many spots to witness the colours of Autumn but we chose the glorious @forestgladegardens 😍

Well, it didn’t disappoint at ALL.
FALL looks so pretty here.

We spent a good 2-3 hours exploring the entire garden and this is everything I found camera worthy. 📸

This is one of the best ways to spend time with family or friends. Soaking up the last bit of sunshine, pleasantly cool air and the beautiful autumn hues. 🍂

The weather this weekend looks perfect and The Mount Macedon Garden Trail runs for all of April and a complimentary shuttle bus is available every weekend during April, so make the most of it. 🧡 taken in Mount Macedon, Victoria by @forestgladegardens
