Year 4.
My sadness comes from not being able to share the moments and seasons with you in the physical anymore. Can’t ride with you in the passenger seat listening to new music or making playlists with you for every occasion. Dissecting a new book, or binge watching a show together. Laying in bed silent while being on our phones, or being on FaceTime just listening to your chaotic days. The simple things, the very things that we tend to look past or not recognize as the bigger picture.
Grief never ends, it just morphs into different phases. It comes with lessons and experiences as well as a different outlook on life and what’s truly important. Although physically you’re not here our connection will always remain strong. The sky looks more beautiful since you’ve gotten there. I’ll be missing you, but i found you in this lifetime and i know you’ll find me in the next. I love you. Forever. by @forevapoppinn
