When you get your @unicorn.eclipse haul, you don’t just throw their packaging away. You incorporate everything into your journal to make them last forever. I am that obsessed with their stationery. 😍😍😍

Not much happening in my life to journal so, I just let the junk and paper guide me. It may end up chaotic, like this, but that’s totally fine. The experience is what matters. Also, I don’t think I’ll ever be a minimalist 😆 I hate leaving empty spaces ✌🏻but I do love watching minimalist journaling ♡

I used to wonder why anyone would need so many notebooks or journals until I became one myself. A journal is a place where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions. Everyone has a million thoughts and feelings, and a journal provides a perfect medium for them. That’s why most people definitely need more than one journal. Here’s my “brain dump journal.” I prefer it to be plain and straightforward, without the need for stickers or stationery. It’s a place where I can easily and comfortably pour myself out, sort things out, and organize my personal chaos. It’s incredibly satisfying to see the pages fill up. It’s like lifting a heavy load off my head. How about you? How do you use your journals?

Late journal for my roundtrip flight from San Francisco to Wichita ♡

Materials: gift wrapper designed with a top view of a neighborhood, baggage tags, @garrettpopcorn bag from my layover in Chicago, stationery

Pop-up based on @shelleyaldrichminimuseum’s tutorial. Just modified it a bit to fit my “airplane” idea 😆

I started out with just junk materials from home. Food wrappers, packaging, receipts, and paper scraps. Eventually, I found where people are getting their stationery so, I started collecting piece by piece. Just like when we would accessorize ourselves to complete our get-up, I would add bits of stationery and stickers to my journals to accessorize it. Although, it’s not a necessity to buy them, they’re just nice to have. You’ll be surprised, once you take notice, you’ll find a lot of materials at home! ♡

Memo pads & rubber stamps have become my recent obsession. Thank you @emma_stationery_haul for fueling my hyperfixation 😆

My journaling stuff filled my carry-on and 1/3 of my check-in luggage 🫣 I can’t choose, so I just brought everything with me 😆 I hauled them all the way to Wichita, Kansas and back to Bay area, California. I used them well during the whole trip, though ♡
