Year 1 of For Goodness Jake! ✨ When I started, I had no idea what this practice would look like or where it would go. For Goodness Jake began as a tarot-focused practice and over this past year it has evolved into something I didn’t expect - a deep dive into Hellenistic and traditional astrology that I didn’t see coming. Reflecting on this past year, from everything I’ve learned about building a practice, to studying astrology through courses and lectures, to every reading I’ve completed I want to say a sincere thank you. To every person who booked a reading, gifted a reading, followed along, sent a kind word or trusted me with their chart: it has meant more than I can say. I’m officially leaning into astrology as the focus of my offerings. I’m excited about where things are headed and I can’t wait to continue my studies and providing even more depth to my readings. Thank you to the teachers and mentors that I have taken courses with, who have made your content and knowledge accessible through podcasts and who have shared your wisdom of this craft through lectures and guidebooks @moongathering @theastrologypodcast @nightlightastrology @kiraryberg @astrocatherine @mshelenawoods - I’m so appreciative of you. Thank you to @angelikae_art for helping to establish my brand look and your guidance as I navigate my own design and creativity 🎨 💗 As a thank you, please use YEAR1 in checkout for a discount on any reading until June 15th! 💛Excited for this next year and what’s to come xo #astrology #tarot #astrologycommunity #learning by @forgoodnessjake_astro

Introducing myself (again!) 👋 but wanted to be a bit more vulnerable and open. Creating content and videos can be quite intimidating and the fear of being seen or perceived is something I always struggled with. [hello to my Sun in detriment and Venus being squared by Saturn. 🪐 🫠] I have always cared a lot about what people think due to past traumas (I know many can relate) but that has never served me. It’s made me forget who I am, what my opinions and interests are and what I stand for. These passions have helped me come back to them. Posting content has been helpful in applying my learning and knowledge (I’m in my Year 2 certification of Traditional Astrology!) but has also been helping me find my creativity again. I hope it also helps me build my confidence! I have no expectations when posting my content as this is truly just for me, but if you want to follow along and connect I welcome and appreciate that so much. So hi! Let’s see if I get better at this over time 🤞 Book a reading with me at forgoodnessjake.com or DM me for more info xo #astrology #tarot #gay #storytelling #creativity by @forgoodnessjake_astro

LIBRA NEW MOON 🌑 ⚖️ HOROSCOPES We’re used to Libra wanting to keep the peace, but this New Moon is prickly and uncomfortable. With Mars squaring a retrograding Venus, we’re reevaluating: ✧ What’s bugging us and what needs to change ✧ What’s really going on in our closest relationships ✧ Honesty, with others and with ourselves ✧ Where trust and intimacy are solid and where they’re shaky Venus is traveling through Scorpio and rules this moon, so we can’t keep denying how we feel about certain things. Is it really balance if we know it’s costing us more than it gives? Where is Libra in your chart? What are you reckoning with? A New Moon is a good time to set an new intention and change in direction. Although harder, this one can be constructive if follow-through with change is met. Book a natal reading with me if you want to get more detailed and want to discover more about your chart via Forgoodnessjake.com or send a dm xo #astrologypost #newmoon #horoscope #traditionalastrology #libra by @forgoodnessjake_astro

VENUS RETROGRADE 💓🐺 RISING SIGN HOROSCOPES - Are you afraid of your own desires? Venus’ Retograde through Scorpio and Libra = it’s time to stop acting polite and start getting real. This journey brings a heightened awareness around our authenticity and where change is necessary, even if it’s deeply uncomfortable. In Scorpio we must sit with what brings us discomfort or shame. Time to unearth those deep and ignored feelings 🪏 Do you judge the things you want or desire? Do you submit to what is expected of you? Why does thinking about “that thing” make you want to crawl out of your skin? What was happening around this time in 2018? Similar and repeating storylines may come back into your life 🔮 Where in your chart will Venus be traveling? If you’d like to know more, book a reading with me! #venus #astrologypost #scorpio #libra #astrologyreadings by @forgoodnessjake_astro

Day team ☼ vs. Night team ⏾ AKA Sect “Ok sounds kind of boring, why should I care?” Well, the Sect in traditional Astrology is a foundational concept when making natal chart interpretations. Learning about sect, and that I am on the Night/Nocturnal team, has brought so much clarity to looking at my own chart. Sect helps us understand which planets are the most active, comfortable and are most influential in the birth chart. They can inform your motivations, your gifts and your challenges. Which team are you on? 🌙 ☀️ Big shoutout to @kiraryberg who has helped me understand sect through such an approachable way in her course The Astrological Craft (HIGHLY recommend if you are looking to begin learning about or deepen your knowledge in astrology). 📚 Reach out and book a reading with me to learn more about you and your Sect through your natal chart xo ✨ #astrologypost #traditionalastrology #sect #astrologyreadings #dayandnight by @forgoodnessjake_astro

“You’re a LIBRA, aren’t ya darlin’?!” (IYKYK) 🪉 Libra ♎︎︎ season is here and opens with a Full Moon in Aries ♈︎ on September 26. Libra asks how we relate to others, how we keep the peace, and how we make room for the “we.” Aries, its opposite reminds us that our own desires matter too. With Mars at 29 Degrees Cancer and Neptune on the Moon, feelings may run hot and clarity may run low. This is a good weekend to pause before reacting. Where are you smoothing things over when you could be honest about what you want? Swipe through to see where Libra is activating in your chart this season. #astrologypost #horoscope #libraseason #ariesmoon #venus by @forgoodnessjake_astro

CANCER SEASON 🦀 🐚 Cancer season encourages us to be in touch with our emotions and think of sensitivity as a power. The shift is more nostalgic, driven by intuition and our memories. 💧 The sun lights up and draws focus to a different area of your life, wherever Cancer rules in your chart. We also gear up to say farewell to Jupiter in his exaltation of Cancer as he moves into Leo very soon. What planets in the sign of Cancer do you have? DM for any questions or availability with summer readings xo 💋 #cancerseason #astrologypost #astrologycommunity #astrologyreadings by @forgoodnessjake_astro

SUMMER READINGS 2026 💧 The Summer Solstice is here! I’ve updated my readings for the summer season to lean a bit more into the astrology side of my practice and added more openings on my calendar. I’ve also added the new “Astro Intro” reading as an option for those who have never had an astrology reading. This reading is for anyone curious what their birth chart tells them about their life’s story, their challenges, their gifts and any topics in between. Many have requested a more general reading tailored to this idea and I’m looking forward to introducing more new clients to traditional astrology! Reach out with any questions or go to forgoodnessjake.com to book - have a great summer season xo 💋 #summersolstice #cancerseason #leoseason #virgoseason #astrologyreadings by @forgoodnessjake_astro

Quick reflection🪞 Year 1 of For Goodness Jake Astrology and Tarot have helped me find magic and enchantment in a world that can feel very fast and difficult to find connection to the self. I have found it to be a practice of making meaning and believing in wonder. ✨ I have made so many wonderful new connections through this practice. I have formed even closer bonds with existing friendships and relationships. Your curiosity and openness have been so appreciated. It’s helped me grow my confidence and openness to embrace the “weird” or the “woo-woo”. 🔮 We are complex and are all dealing with our own challenges and existential crises. To be able to discuss that in a birth chart reading for a moment of clarity and pause has been so awesome to experience with you. With this, I am “rebranding” my practice to For Goodness Jake as I want to lean in even more to craft the astrology and all of my learnings through courses and certifications. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and encouraged me this past year. Every reading you have booked or gifted supports my studies and education in this very mysterious, esoteric and beautifully complex language. It means the world to me. 💚 #astrology #tarot #astrologycommunity #student by @forgoodnessjake_astro
