We are so happy to share new music and our first official release as For Horses!

We couldn’t have done it without our friends! Produced and engineered by @juliankindermann at @2200studios in Sausalito, with help from @jakedwalsh19. We recorded analog, using Julian’s Tascam 388 tape machine which was soooo cool!

Mastered by @timothy_stollenwerk of Stereophonic Mastering in Portland, Oregon.

Now for the exciting news …

✧˖°. WE ARE RELEASING NEW MUSIC! ✧˖°.

This has been a long time coming, and we couldn’t be more excited to share the new “us” with you. It’s been quite a year - filled with change, moving, and rocking out with each other ♥️

We are happy to share “Spider” and “Keys” coming out on streaming platforms Friday, July 24th!

These songs wouldn’t have been possible without the wonderful @juliankindermann recording analog on tape at the legendary @2200studios (an experience and labor of love in of itself), and mixing the songs to our hearts content. It was so magical to be in the same studio space as many music legends before us.

And a big thank you to @timothy_stollenwerk for mastering magic!

Hiiiyyyeeeee!!

We are beyond excited to announce not one but TWO shows coming up this month.

On Tuesday, July 21st we’re supporting @the.soapgirls on tour from South Africa⭐️Show is starting at 6:30 SHARP it’s an early show. So pull up to @kilowatt_bar_sf and then go home and get a good nights sleep. 😘

And Friday, July 24th we are playing @neckofthewoodssf with @overunderband and Portland friends @jonnysdayout who are on tour to promote their new album! Doors at 7pm, buy advance tix in our bio.

We have a very exciting announcement later this week, so stay tuned…🙈

WOAH! Thank you to everyone who came to our set @bottomofthehillsf for the @totalaccordagency fest kick off show! What an honor to play such a kick ass venue, and thank you to @totalaccordagency @tylawave for organizing.

Now, it’s time to go to the ren faire! 🏰✨

On June 27th we are playing in the Sapphic Pride Battle of the Bands @fabmabsf put together by the wonderful @mayday.ma3 who will be playing, as well as divas @marcellehbk_ @jaded_justice
Winners will be announced at the show, and judged by drag queens @brie.elleworde @princess__capri who will also be performing that night.🧚🏼‍♀️
This is an ALL AGES SHOW, and will be starting at 7pm sharp. Check the link in our bio for tickets.

Feeling like the luckiest girls in the world! ✨

We have always revered the women who came before us in rock and punk scenes, and this experience was the truest testament of that. To be in the presence of @realmarthareeves and share the stage with her alone was a dream. Not to mention spending time with the lovely @realginaschock in the rehearsal studio, learning these songs she wrote with @officialgogos , and hearing about their legacy in music. ♥️

To @haightstreetart thank you for hosting us, and an extra special thank you to @traviskasperbauer and @realginaschock for believing in us 🌟

Total Accord Fest is back June 3rd through 20th at venues throughout San Francisco, with artists like Brijean and The Seshen plus a stacked local lineup. We’re breaking down all 13 shows and why they matter.

On Wednesday, June 3rd at the Bottom of the Hill, the Total Accord Fest kickoff party brings together Davia Schendel, Outer Sunset, and For Horses for a tight, high-impact start to the festival.

Davia Schendel opens things up in a more cinematic lane. Her sound moves between rock, art-pop, and jazz, with this surreal, introspective quality that feels rooted in San Francisco but never stuck in one place.

Outer Sunset follows with that early 2000s alt-rock DNA, the kind that feels instantly familiar but still fresh. They’ve been steadily building momentum around the city, and this set feels like catching them right as things are clicking.

Then For Horses closes it out, loud and melodic, pulling from that Breeders and Veruca Salt lineage but pushing it into something more urgent and communal. Big hooks, sharp lyrics, and a live show that doesn’t hold back.
