Dare I say these were one of the best dumplings I ever had. We got wagyu and onion, shrimp kurobuta prom and leek, and pan fried pork and pickled cabbage. Top 5 dumplings of all time I can’t lie. You have to try for yourself if you’re ever in Chicago.

Been a min, but i’m still here. Randomly came across this spot after a pokemon tournament I attended in Benicia, and ordered the pesto gnocchi with chicken and man it was fire. Chicken was perfectly grilled, and the pesto was the creamiest one I’ve ever tasted.

I never got to try Zippy’s my last trip to Hawaii, but luckily they opened one in Vegas while I lived there. The zip pac deluxe (pictured on the right) is a good choice if you’re not sure exactly what you want but want a little bit of everything. But in summary, Zippy’s is a hawaiian take on diner food.

8/10 really good tasting food but yk everything was pretty much fried so if u have gout beware.
10/10 just for their malasadas being GAS tho taken in Zippy's by @forkedwrld

Sweet corn and matcha sounds like a weird combo, but we were feeling a adventurous so we ordered that as well as an ube matcha. Weird combo, but it tastes really good. It tastes just like the corn chips you buy at the asian market.

8/10 only bc it’s a lil too sweet for me personally taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @forkedwrld

This is one of my homie’s family restaurant in SJ. I’m not too well versed on Viet good outside of Pho ngl. But this dish was fire super flavorful, I feel like you can’t really go wrong with beef and some bread haha. The food court it’s in feels like a time capsule of the 90s and that alone is kinda cool lol

Using tiktok for food reccs has always been a 50/50 for me, but to me this is one of those times where it was actually fire. We got the chicken tikka masala fries and pizza, it was pretty gas.

Artichoke Basille’s in Berkeley always has a special place in my heart. It’s a comfort spot for me atp 🫶 Vodka sicilian for me and artichoke for the gf

Lowkey DTF doesn’t hit the same to me. It may be due to the fact that there’s a million other dim sum places that exist now, since the last time I had DTF (back when I went to SJSU lol). At the end of the day their main banger is the chocolate mochi XLB.

Tsukiji fish market is 100% a tourist trap, but that’s not to say you won’t find the best tuna and seafood you’ll ever have in your life there. We got to Tsukiji hella early before the crowds got there so we got this tuna pretty quickly at I think was the outer market. After walking around we passed by the stand again and the line was dn around the block.

Honestly this was my first time having Indonesian food and man it was so flavorful. Heavy Indian and Malaysian influences and everything had such a colorful flavor palette (my best description). Took Lauren here for Valentine’s and I would come back again to try more dishes.

4.5/5 good but my main gripe was I wish the braised beef was more tender but the flavors were all there. taken in SanDai Walnut Creek by @forkedwrld

gyukatsu was fire for like $15 you for sure can’t go wrong, but for another serving of katsu was like $4 so we just went down the street to matsuya bc we were still hungry after eating that and we just walked like 10 miles that day LMFAO

4/5 only bc I wasn’t particularly amazed by it but it still was gas taken in 牛カツ京都勝牛 - Gyukatsu Kyotokatsugyu - by @forkedwrld
