Unseens from (unfortunately) the only two engagements I’ve done so far.

It’s very, very easy to get bored with military photography. It feels monotonous and fabricated at times, and I often find myself unimpressed with the things I post to my main photography account.

I’ve been thinking about these two engagements a lot lately. Lifestyle photography is, of course, the ultimate goal with a focus on weddings/engagements. We’ll see in 2036. by @formattedsdcard

For anyone who doesn’t know, my actual job as a “Combat Camerman” is as a videographer. I used to think I was “more passionate” about photography, but really that just meant that I wasn’t good at videography.

Just wrapped 10 days of an Attack Drone period of instruction, where my unit was the first operational unit in the Marine Corps to receive this training.

First slide is the intro of the short-form production video for the training and slides 2 & 3 are obviously color progression for the interviews.

Still tweaking the video around some. I’ll probably end up moving some things around and I’ll definitely change the title animation to something different than just a fade.

I still have a lot to learn but this video is definitely going to be the best one I’ve made so far. by @formattedsdcard
