Hi 🤍

A little introduction because this page finally has a purpose.

I’m Arina - originally from Russia, moved to the U.S. a few years ago, and for the past 2 months call Miami home. During the day I work in tech, and in the mornings, evenings, and weekends you’ll usually find me teaching Pilates, which somehow never feels like work.

I started teaching full time two years ago in Savannah, Georgia, and I’ll always have so much love for the studio and community that gave me my start. Moving to Miami meant starting over as an instructor, which has been exciting, humbling, and one of the best decisions I’ve made.

One of my favorite parts of teaching is creating curated playlists, planning classes, and watching people leave feeling stronger and more confident than when they walked in. I also always try to chat with each one of my students, because the human connection matters so much. And it’s absolutely beautiful.

This page is where I’ll be sharing classes, movement, playlists, instructor life, behind-the-scenes moments, and everything I’m learning along the way.

If you’re here, I’m so happy you found me. 🤍 by @formbyarina

A little reflection on teaching Pilates in Miami lately 🤍

Moving to a new city and building your place in a new fitness community is both exciting and humbling.

Coming from a rhythmic gymnastics background, movement has always been a huge part of my life. But teaching has taught me that being good at something and being able to share that passion with others are two completely different things.

Since moving to Miami, I’ve had the opportunity to meet some incredible instructors, explore different studios, and continue developing my own teaching style.

I’m learning that a great class isn’t necessarily about having the hardest sequence or the most complicated choreography. It’s about the energy you bring, the connections you create, and how people feel when they leave.

And while I definitely love my spicy sequences and carefully curated playlists, I hope my students always leave feeling a little stronger, happier, and more confident than when they walked in.

Still learning, still growing, and so grateful to be part of this community. 🫶🏼

A great class is about more than the workout itself. It’s the energy you bring, the music you play, and the way you connect with the people in front of you. I want everyone to leave feeling stronger, happier, and genuinely excited to come back.

I love a spicy sequence and a good challenge, but I believe you can push people without making them feel intimidated. There’s something so rewarding about watching someone realize they’re capable of more than they thought.

Some of my biggest lessons have come from taking other instructors’ classes, exploring different styles, and being open to feedback. There’s always something new to learn, and I never want to lose that curiosity 🌶️ taken in Miami, Florida by @formbyarina
