The 31st is when our neighborhood shines! Over 500 gather to walk in a parade and then we all make our way to our homes & many of us gather in the front yard around fire pits with hot cocoa and cider in hand along with a bowl of soup if you're at our house. We set up the movie projector and catch up with neighbors and friends. Over 300 kids will visit for candy and it's just so fun! by @formedandfound

Thankful for the men and women who have given their lives in service to our beautiful and free nation. God bless them and their families. This cemetery always does a beautiful job of honoring the fallen on Memorial Day. Driving through here is a powerful reminder

Tomorrow we head back to the hospital for the 5th day of chemo in this second cycle. She will have 6-7 more 21 day cycles in order to get to a stage of "NED" (no evidence of disease) but we are going to proclaim and pray for NED after this cycle! Pray for miracles upon miracles. She is the brightest light and determined. Hate that she has to go through this. We are forever grateful for our team.
The National Ewings tumor board is meeting on May 15th - the top Ewings Sarcoma specialists will be listening to our oncologist present Peyton's case (in a PowerPoint format). It's unique because she gets to NED quickly and remains there for long periods of time before Ewings comes back without spreading all over. It's not something the Doctor we are consulting with has seen before, but we know exactly what's going on: our God is a mighty God! When this disease likes to metastasis fast and come back quickly, it's stayed away for a year or 2 for Peyton. When she gets to NED this time, the goal is to qualify her for a trial that will be the first of its kind for Ewings patients- potentially life changing and saving (just like our Jesus is!) by @formedandfound

This pup. We got Okie Dokie at the end of Peyton's first battle with Ewings. Okie's sisters are with two of our close friends so that's a bonus! She is the absolute best dog we have ever had. I think she was born knowing she needed to be a chill angle baby for Peyton. She never leaves her side. She's cuddling with Peyton's pillow in the first pic. @okiedokiedoodlepup by @formedandfound

We got the devastating news last week that Ewings sarcoma is back in Peyton's right lung, a 3mm tumor caught on her routine quarterly scans. They caught it early and ordered a P.E.T scan, which will be Thursday at 8:30 am. We are praying it's nowhere else. Please join is and pray for a miracle!
Next week she will most likely begin radiation and chemotherapy for control. We are shocked and heartbroken but clinging to hope. Because of the research that groups like the Little Warrior Foundation does, more chemotherapy options have been discovered. Rescent clinical trials and continued research has found 4 more breakthrough chemotherapies that we will be discussing with her Oncologist.
We will meet with the radiation oncologist sometime after her PET scan to discuss that treatment plan as well.

Peyton has been taking pre-nursing running start classes at Spokane Falls Community College and she has been doing so well. She's driving all over and meeting up with friends and active in her youth group & small Bible study group. She has been feeling great and was finally finding her stride at the community college. It's just heartbreaking that she has to go through more treatment. We have hope and faith that she can beat this again and pray that the new chemotherapy options destroy every microscopic Ewings cell. ⚔️🙏🏻 by @formedandfound

This is the longest I've ever left any remnants from Christmas up. We finally got our winter snow dump and I'm so glad we still have this much up. It was magical last night as giant clusters of snow fell and the twinkle lights sparked against a backdrop of white. The disco ball helps and if you don't have one, I can't recommend it enough! Extending the season is such a gift. I love ubdecorating the tree and looking at every ornament as I put it away and I love decorating it again for our yearly new years tree! This time of year is the perfect time to check o it Christmas clearance sales. I've gotten all our new years garland for $1-$2 and we have used it for 13+ years. What are you doing to make the 12 days of Christmas special? Ps- thank you to every teacher who helped our kids tiny little hands create so many of the homemade ornaments we have on our tree! by @formedandfound
