IN LIKE FIVE DAYS 😅 Right this one was a journey. The moral of the story is *don't deep it* if you can't find '''headliners''' that are available for -free- for 38 months in a row. NLDC was always about the crew! So just scrap all your plans get your mates in and have a laugh like it's supposed to be. Massive love to all the dons here who all agreed to play within about 30 mins of eachother lol when i was this 🤏🏼 close to cancelling this event after a month of stressing over lineup for no reason! Prob end up being the best one! Sorry for the longness, i try, i try x by @formella___

We’re excited to welcome London-born, Berlin-based DJ & producer Formella!

Moving between dubstep, jungle, psychedelic D&B, halftime and textural techno, her bass-heavy sets connect pressure, rhythm and space. As part of Femme Bass Mafia, she is deeply rooted in soundsystem culture, DJ education and community-driven formats. We’re looking forward to experiencing her sound on the dancefloor this sunday at @pudel_com 🍃🔊 taken in Golden Pudel Club by @formella___

We’re happy to announce the first artist playing at Simulterra on the 12th of September 🌚

Formella moves across the bass spectrum with an instinct for pressure, contrast and physicality. Her time at @oyerecordstore shaped a deep cross-genre digging sensibility that continues to inform her instinctive approach to selection.
Dubstep, halftime, psychedelic drum & bass, jungle and textural techno are pulled into sets that resist settling into a single shape, shifting between weight, pace and atmosphere. At their core is a fascination with low frequencies and their ability to reach beyond the audible, bringing sensation deep into the body.

That fascination with the materiality of sound extends into @femmebassmafia , with whom
she co-built and co-owns a custom sound system. Following her debut release ‘Dripstep’
on @bait__music , a series of forthcoming releases continues to push her language across bass,
rhythm and soundsystem music.

Check out her sets on Rinse FM and Kindred Radio.
