On September 2nd I'll be in Amsterdam's @hardrockcafe for a solo show. 8pm, entry is free.

The song I am playing on my @larriveeguitars is by @bryanadams, it's called "Cuts Like a Knife".

This fall I will be travelling. I will be coming to play for (and with) as many of you as I can.

This is a bit of Prince's "Purple Rain" to test your patience.

P.S. You can already pre-save Moira's upcoming album (link in bio). #AtHoM is coming October 16th.

When I lived with my family, I played so much guitar that my parents must have started hating rock 'n' roll. And yet my dad would tell me: "I'll buy you a nice guitar when you can play me a good solo". I can't exactly remember which song got me my Gibson Les Paul, but I am sure that every time I would play this song, he'd put an ear to my bedroom's door. This is Gary Moore's "The Loner".

I play a @suhrcustom through a @victoryampsuk.

Meeting someone who, in two days only, can capture two smiles of mine, makes me think that someone must be extraordinary. Thanks, @eljosha.photography.

Also thanks to @rubenmusic_official and your @northboundwriterscamp.

I am looking forward to the future.

Last Saturday night, I ended up in the first row at @officialericjohnson's (long-awaited and insane) gig at the Boerderij, in Zoetermeer (NL). Since the show was sold out, I thought coming early would have been a good idea. Two and a half hours before the doors opened, I was there. Alone. In my backpack a letter and three self-made gifts, one for each member of the band-what the gifts were should only be revealed at a later moment, perhaps never. Fast forward three hours. I was standing almost in front of Eric Johnson, at a 1-meter distance from the man who changed the rules of guitar to his own liking: the greatest player to ever live. He sang "Desert Rose", and I sang along. He realized and smiled at me. Then "Cliffs of Dover" and the final applause. I put my letter in the air as a sign to catch his attention. I saw him peeking: he seemed curious to see what a kid may have written so messily on a piece of paper. I screamed loud enough for him to come over and receive my gift. We shook hands. I guess this whole story is proof that, at least sometimes, things can go your way, particularly when you do them to the fullest. Maybe there will be an update to this story, or maybe it will remain the memory I will inevitably look back to every time someone asks me: "So, who's the best guitar player in the world?"
