Post-Memorial Day is where momentum starts separating people in business. The long weekend ends, inboxes reopen, schedules fill back up, and it’s easy to immediately fall back into the daily grind. But one thing I’ve learned over the years in business is this: Your network matters just as much as your operations. One of the biggest reasons I’ve been able to grow multiple businesses, build partnerships, create opportunities, and stay ahead of trends is because of the relationships built through networking, collaboration, and now — social media. Social media is no longer just entertainment or “cute dances.” It’s modern business development. It’s: • Brand building • Community building • Strategic partnerships • Lead generation • Education • Visibility • Influence Some of the most valuable business relationships I’ve built started with a DM, a repost, a collaboration, or simply supporting another creator or entrepreneur online. The people who win long-term are the ones who understand that visibility creates opportunity. As we move into the second half of the year, I’m challenging myself — and encouraging others — to continue building authentic connections, supporting local businesses, collaborating with like-minded people, and embracing AI, content, and digital platforms as tools for growth instead of distractions.
