Surprise!!!

We are so so lucky to have our event on the 25th of October ‘efflorescence’ catered for by the gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous @streetsorcery_ ! Make sure you come down at 5pm to fill your bellies with delicious food cooked by beautiful people.

Street Sorcery is a creative food project by Matilda von Bibra, blending Thai flavours with nostalgia in playful and unexpected ways. Her menus celebrate the contrast between smokey and bright, familiar and new, with each pop up a sensory experiment full of connection, curiosity and good chaos.

You can catch Street Sorcery at Efflorescence from 5pm until the sun goes down. Vego and GF options catered for - DM us for any other dietary enquiries.

Ticket link in bio - presale is moving quickly and there are limited tix so be safe and buy a ticket beforehand 🌸🌟 by @forner.music

our next gig is October 25th, playing an event ‘efflorescence’ that we’ve been curating over the last few months with @olza.artist 🤩

really excited to present this night to you all - we’ve taken care to choose artists that are genre bending and experimental, brave and femme fronted bands, DJ’s, performance art and visual installation - there’s going to be so much gorgeous expression to take in, we’re really excited!

bands for the night at ‘efflorescence’ !¡

olza: Standing at the forefront of Naarm’s independent music scene, olza blends experimental textures and IDM rhythms with a unique approach to vocal manipulation that sets her apart in the electronic music landscape.

FΦRNER: Post-punk-ish yet genre defiant, unapologetic, raw, experimental, gritty, femme. FΦRNER is heavy hitting, grooving, introspective and gentle at times. It’s inward/outward. Poems and music.

Blush: A captivating fusion of melancholic pop and post-punk aesthetics, Blush is a sound that dances between eerie wistfulness and gritty rawness, the band masterfully weaves together haunting melodies and driving instrumentation to create an immersive auditory experience.

Jag: A raw, genre-bending musician from Melbourne, Jag incorporates elements of spoken word, effortless phrasing and grit, she engages with audiences fearlessly and eagerly. The Artist In Question, her current outsider-soul project, is influenced by the oddities of Frank Zappa, Solange and Arthur Brown. Jag is showing audiences that she is an artist to look out for.

more exciting announcements to follow later in the week 💕

P.S - it’s my birthday so I’m seeing this as a collaborative celebration with friends and creatives x by @forner.music

We are thrilled to announce a curated event we’ve been working on for a while now…

efflorescence is a curated night of world-building, scene-less expression, and experimental artistry. Blurring the lines between sound, performance, and digital visuals, the event showcases a genre-defying lineup of bands, DJs, performance artists, and visual creators. Each act crafts their own world—untethered, immersive, and unapologetically original. ‘efflorescence’ is a celebration of femme emergence, growth and creative rupture.

Lineup:
Jag
Blush
FORNER
olza
Claudia Leonard (live visuals)
Benita Chimera (performance artist)
Feline Fine/Goo (DJ)
Yollks (DJ)
