Solo hiker- seeking adventure, self-growth and breathtaking views

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

HI! My name is Molly and I… spent the majority of my adult life falling in line with societal norms, chasing the “American Dream” and believing that happiness can be bought with money and the approval and adoration of others. Oops! 😳
Spoiler alert! All I really needed was some alone time, solo adventures, and a really great therapist 😅. Sound intriguing? Follow along for a daily dose of inspiration and beautiful views from adventures around the US and beyond. 🤍

With so many great adventures on the horizon, I’ve decided to document my travels (near and far) right here - and share with friends, family and fellow adventurers some of my great experiences, lessons learned, and hopefully some really beautiful views along the way. taken in Cardigan Mountain State Park by @forpeakssake_

After a lifetime of moving, I’m grateful to have found my way back to New Hampshire. I guess the mountains really do have a way of calling us home. ❤️ taken in New Hampshire by @forpeakssake_

My best friend lives on the other side of the country, and while I’d love to visit WAY more than I do, I’m grateful to meet her in the middle for an annual trip to one of the most magical places in the US. taken in Grand Teton National Park by @forpeakssake_

PLEASE READ… Big Bend National Park holds a very special place in my heart. But on a non personal note, the wildlife there is incredible. The mountains and canyons are otherworldly. This is not some barren desert space.

Big Bend National Park protects the largest intact stretch of the Chihuahuan Desert ecosystem in the US, one of the most biologically diverse deserts in the world.

The park also protects more than 1,200 plant species, 450+ bird species, 75 mammal species, and 56 reptile species.

This is not about politics. It’s about what is right vs wrong. When will enough be enough?
