I love the cemetery next to the QuickChek in Moonachie, NJ. The headstones are from the 1820s to the 1890s, and you get up to this spot by climbing an old set of wooden steps pushed into the little hill. I’ve admired this place from the parking lot all year, but the weather, and being Friday, and having an easy day at work finally got me to go have a look. There’s one burial and stone under a tree away from this cordoned off part, which really moved me. The breeze feels amazing. Sending love to where y’all are. -FP taken in Moonachie, NJ, USA by @forrestphilpot

my album It’ll Always Be Good to See You comes out in two weeks. it’s a record about leaving the florida panhandle where I lived for 3.5 years, stopping in Memphis for 8 months to be with my dad and grandma and friends, then moving to New York City, and it is the sister record to last year’s alb. so excited to share with y’all <3 soon
