1 year, 2 jobs, 3 larps, 4 bingo wins, 5 club nights, so many new silly people in my life.

Truly so grateful to get to have the opportunities and friends that I've made in the last year. Its hard to be so far away from family and hard to create a new home, but having so many open hearts around me makes it easier.

I've moved to New Zealand and how mixed the feelings feel. The opportunity to be safe, to not fear and to love and live with my partner mix with the grief of loss for my family and friends, the people who helped me in the past 26 years to become someone kind and loving.

I won't be too sappy. This is something good, something new, something to look forward to. And there is nothing more you can ask for in this life than a safe place to land. What more can you ask for than what I am thankful to have - a family who loves me and supports me even when it breaks their hearts, a partner who holds me without recourse, and a heart that loves.
