MEET US AT THE @hirshhorn! On May 17, we’re taking a tour of “Big Things for Big Rooms,” and ending with a guided journaling workshop on themes in Rashid Johnson’s, “The Changes,” pictured. Themes include: ideas of shelter, cleansing, creative pursuits, and leisure.

RSVP in bio! Can’t wait to see you 🌿✨🫶🏽

@rashidjohnson’s practice spans painting, photography, sculpture, performance, and film, and draws inspiration from a broad array of materials, including books, art history, Black popular culture, and the artist’s own experiences. His @guggenheim exhibition, “A Poem For Deep Thinkers,” received wide acclaim before closing at the top of the year. The artist was recently tapped by @gq to photograph Jay-Z for a new special global issue, which was released on March 24. taken in Washington, DC by @forthwrite.docx

As Women’s History Month comes to an end, we wanted to give a special shoutout to all the women who attended Pilates + Prompts over the past few weeks! We didn’t market the series as being only for women, but the ladies showed up and showed out in support of their own growth and in support of each other 🫶🏽 We’re so grateful for you! And, of course, the biggest hugs to @wellnesswithkaila 〰️ sweet friend, co-conspirator, and Pilates extraordinaire ✨ by @forthwrite.docx
