This week we’ll be celebrating all things coffee for Margate Coffee Week with a Colombian takeover for our rotating coffee selection. We’ll be pouring coffees from @routescoffee @crafthousecoffee @catalyst_roasters @allcaps_coffee

Whilst highlighting our Colombian takeover this week we’d also like to give something back after a devastating earthquake hit the region recently.

Throughout Margate Coffee Week you can purchase tickets to our raffle at our Margate shop.

All raffle proceeds will be sent to help with aid relief to affected areas, our charity of choice is @apunafun who work heavily with affected coffee growers. If you’d like to make a personal donation you can find the link in our bio.

Thank you to @origincoffeeroasters and @allcaps_coffee for the generous prize donations.

The draw will be streamed on Instagram live at 3pm, Sunday 13th September. All winners will be contacted directly on Monday 14th :) taken in Fort's by @fortscoffee

Forts x Origin Latte Art Throwdown

⏰ 5pm-8pm

Join us at our recently relocated Broadstairs shop for a fun night of latte art, coffee chat and prizes.

Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or entering your first throwdown, this is an opportunity to connect with fellow baristas, showcase your pouring skills, and enjoy a relaxed evening of friendly competition.

Over the course of the evening, 16 competitors will go head-to-head, pouring their best latte art in a knockout-format judged by the team at Forts and Origin. Expect great coffee, good company, and plenty of support from the crowd.

Broadstairs 2.0 🍊 ☕️

Yesterday we opened the doors to our new site over in Broadstairs! We’ve got a whole new food menu featuring some absolute bangers💥. All alongside our usual amazing coffee from @origincoffeeroasters and other coffee mates around the country

Thanks to everyone who came yesterday while we ‘soft launched’, it was exceptional 🥹🫰🏼

Opening times have slightly changed:
Mon-Fri 7:30-3:00 (food 8-2:30)
Sat-Sun 8-3:00 (food 8-2:30)

What a lovely time we had at our staff Christmas party last week, thank you @bugsysmargate and @margateofflicence for hosting us. What a bunch of legends we have 🫶

Christmas has come early here at Forts, in the form of coffee of course!! ☕️

Last year we brought you Guestyboi, this year we bring you GUESTYBOI V2!! It’s not technically a Christmas coffee but it’ll make you feel nice and warm inside 🤗

Roasted by our pals @elsewhere_coffee this is a natural/anaerobic blend from Ethiopia and Mexico 🇪🇹 🇲🇽

Tastes like melon, caramel and honeysuckle, basically it’s bloody delicious and we’re very excited to get it on.

On from today as guest espresso and tasting flights at both shops 🫡

@fortscoffee is a local anchor for coffee, food and connection. A space that brings people together and fuels Margate’s creative energy.
