My work -Made from all these things - is at the RWA 173rd Annual Open Exhibition until 3 January 2027. I am chuffed to be part of such a well curated show. Definitely worth a good, long look. Sharing space in monochrome room with brilliant @sarahduncanprint @washiartist @lbainbridgeprint @freabuckler @ianchamberlainartist just to mention a few.

Spike Print Fair is a new contemporary print fair that has brought together artists, printmakers, illustrators, designers and small presses from across the UK. Presented by Spike Island @spikeisland and Spike Print Studio @spikeprintstudio in partnership with UWE Bristol School of Arts and Centre for Print Research @cfpr_research @cfpr_editions
The fair forms part of Spike Island 50, an anniversary programme marking 50 years since Spike Island and Spike Print Studio were founded in 1976. Too many artists to mention but check out @jesstownsendart @zacktownsendprint @ros_ford_printmaker @emmagregorymakes @bengoodman_uk @demiinsall @freabuckler @hammerchen1113 @hannah.mcvicar and loads more! LAST DAY today and don’t miss these printmakers who are at the top of their game and show you that print can be experimental as well as very accessible. Admire the skill level and pick up brilliant original work. These are my paper dresses floating in spike print studio’s curated exhibition by @sannillustrates who has done a brilliant job of condensing 50 years of @spikeprintstudio into a poignant and confident exhibition. We are getting ready for BV OPEN STUDIOS 2026

I have been playing around with this image for a while to see where it lands - it has its own sense of displacement and I have printed the figure over lomo photos taken at Frieze @frieze.london a few years ago. I think about displacement a lot especially at the moment and it is part of my history. Also having seen the absolutely, completely brilliant William Kentridge 8 channel videos @yspsculpture @williamkentridgestudio and how he portrays the vast movement of people so powerfully I am in awe of his narratives and the urgency needed to protect so many people. More Sweetly Play The Dance. For me there is always a latent desire to still the movement. #displacement #contemporaryprint #printmaking #loveyourwork by @fortyyearproject

Sunny days in London and this is where I finally sat down after nearly 20k steps! @marinatabassum @serpentineuk. The light diffusion and sense of airiness were beautiful and so welcome as I sat there like a rag doll. A capsule in time and just the right medicine indeed.
Also saw Do Ho Suh Walk the House @dohosuhstudio @tatemodern and was overwhelmed by his tenaciousness and sheer hard graft. I have seen and walked through his work before, but this exhibition is a different ballgame. He pursues the idea of home in almost a platonic manner and you can feel the imprints his homes have left on him. My favourite works were the blindfold rubbings. Back to my work now.

Much of my work has taken a long time for me to say that this is complete and time itself becomes object and subject. I am not a natural at showing work but very good at hiding it for many years. Anyhow, the time is now. My heart is in these works and this is 1 of 2 in the series. Greek mythology is ripe with meaning and interpretation and sometimes it can fire off a real connection. Threads are metaphor-ready, beautiful to use and have longevity. This work is very hard to photograph so the sense of scale and intricacy is not conveyed well and you can’t see the thread in this post.
