📣 Meet the Founders of Forward Movement Network

What started as a shared passion became a purpose-driven movement.

Though Bridget and Tejah grew up in the same community with close family ties, they didn’t meet until 2022. Since that moment, their support for one another has been unshakable, and so is their shared commitment to building equity and opportunity for those around them.

After learning about the low homeownership rates in the Black community, they felt called to take action. They saw the need not just for access, but for real education, resources, and generational support, from homeownership to financial legacy and wealth building.

They also recognized something just as urgent: students in their own community were lacking the real-world tools needed to build financial confidence, career readiness, and leadership. That realization became the bridge between their vision for adults and their deep investment in youth.

That’s how Forward Movement Network was born: to close the gap from students to adults, empowering both generations with the tools to lead, own, and build lasting impact.

Forward Movement Network 🖤

Our mission is to increase economic opportunities for underrepresented communities. We do this through homeownership pathways, income growth strategies, and by equipping youth with leadership skills, anticipatory thinking, and the tools to pursue their business and career aspirations with confidence.

Our immediate need: Mock Interview Volunteers! 🎤💼

We’re looking for local professionals and business owners willing to give their time to help students practice interviewing, receive real-world feedback, build confidence, and better understand what employers are looking for.

Beyond mock interviews, we’re always looking for community members who can offer internships, job shadowing, mentorship, career exposure, guest speaking, or simply help us open another door for a young person.

If you’d like to volunteer for an upcoming mock interview session, please comment or message me. I’d love to connect!

We build bridges.
We spark direction.
We design the infrastructure for equity.

So many young people have the talent, work ethic, and potential to succeed. Sometimes all they need is someone to help connect the dots between their interests and the opportunities that already exist around them.

One conversation, one introduction, one recommendation can change the trajectory of a student’s future.

Whether it’s helping discover career paths, build confidence, secure internships, or land a job, there is nothing more rewarding than watching them realize what’s possible.

Allow me to reintroduce myself.

All I Do is more than a podcast. It’s a space for real conversations rooted in truth, purpose, mindset, leadership, culture, and legacy.

This platform was created to tell the stories behind the titles. The growth behind the success. The lessons behind the grind.

From entrepreneurs and athletes to community leaders and visionaries, every conversation is designed to move people forward.

And we’re just getting started.

Season 2 coming soon.

This is All I Do.

“If you believe…” 🎶✨

I had the opportunity to serve as a judge at a local high school business pitch competition today.

Students pitched ideas around AI functionality, healthcare solutions, dance therapy, and more. Not just ideas, but real concepts with purpose, impact, and vision.

This is why I do what I do.

I love being part of these early entrepreneurial conversations. The moment where an idea is still forming, confidence is still building, and someone just needs the right environment to say, “What if this could actually work?”

Grateful to have been invited and to witness what’s possible when students are given the opportunity to think bigger.

Because if they believe…we should too. 💜

2026 is about intention.

Opportunity in Motion is more than a statement — it’s how we show up, how we build, and how we create access where it hasn’t always existed.

This year, we’re focused on turning potential into pathways, and vision into action — for our youth, our communities, and the future we’re shaping together.

Where potential is seen.
Where legacy is built.
Where every step forward is taken with purpose. 🖤

We had the opportunity to sit in on a session with @ykmloudoun (Young King’s Movement), and I left deeply inspired. Watching these young men be poured into, challenged, and uplifted with intention was powerful.

There’s something special about creating spaces where young Black men are not only seen — but guided, supported, and developed into who they’re meant to become. The launch of their Rites of Passage program is exactly the kind of work that creates lasting impact.

Moments like this remind me why collaboration matters. When missions align, we don’t compete — we build, we support, and we move the community forward together.

Grateful to witness it. Looking forward to what’s ahead.

Last week I had the opportunity to be part of the Loudoun County CTE Career Fair at the Academies of Loudoun and I’m still thinking about it 🙌🏽

Students connecting with industry leaders, parents engaged in the conversation, real questions being asked. It created space for students to open up and start seeing tangible pathways forward. So many industries represented. So much potential in one room.

I’m hopeful this leads to meaningful internships for local businesses. I may have already sourced a few for you 😉

On March 19th, I’m hosting an event to help business owners build structured, impactful internship opportunities for LCPS students. (Stay tuned for more info…)

Thank you LCPS for having me- Let’s keep building opportunity right here in Loudoun County!

I’m deeply honored to be speaking at Transformation to Triumph.

We are living in a moment where so many are being asked to navigate uncertainty, redefine stability, and make decisions without clear roadmaps. In times like these, proximity matters. Community matters. Having access to honest conversations and practical guidance matters.

Transformation to Triumph is not about appearances or polished success stories. It’s about Black women coming together to think clearly, move intentionally, and support one another through change, transition, and growth. It’s about using our voices, our experiences, and our leadership to create momentum — for ourselves and for those coming behind us.

If you’re at a crossroads, rebuilding after disruption, or simply craving space to reset with people who understand the weight and responsibility of this season, this is a room worth entering.

I would love to be in community with you, virtually or in person.

I had the opportunity to participate in the Sterling Middle School Career Fair and these students reminded me exactly why I do what I do. ✨

We talked about possibilities, about shaping your own path, and yes… about what it looks like to become an entrepreneur someday.

If nothing else, I hope they walked away with one new idea, one new way of thinking, or one moment that made them pause and expand what they believe is possible for their future.

Sharing with young minds is always an honor — another chance to spark curiosity, confidence, and the belief that they can build something of their own. 💡🔥

Here’s to the next generation of thinkers, creators, and leaders 🙌🏽

Giving Tuesday hits a little different when you’re surrounded by people who show up for their community 🙏🏽

At Agents Giving Back: Filling the Cup, I had the privilege of sharing the heart behind the @forward_movement_network and connecting with other organizations who are doing incredible work right here in our backyard.

FMN was built to pour into the next generation… to support students, create opportunities, and remind them that they are seen, capable, and worthy.

One of the partnerships I’m most proud of is our work with Robey High School — a special school filled with students who amaze me every single visit.

If you’re wondering how you can help us keep this mission moving forward, here are a few meaningful ways to contribute:

✨ Share the mission — spreading the word helps us reach more youth, more families, and more partners.

✨ Donate time or resources — mentorship, volunteering, and community support make a real, tangible difference.

✨ Support the Robey HS Amazon Wish List — every item goes directly to students who need it most. (🔗Available in my bio)

Together, we can keep filling cups — and building a stronger future for our youth. 💜

Want to get involved? DM me and I’ll share how you can support Forward Movement Network ☺️

*Special thanks to the organizers + sponsors for such an amazing event!
