Clearly there is ONLY ONE PLACE in the 1600+ sqf house to take a bath — and that’s sitting on your bro-fur! Swipe for video. (Cooper’s facial expressions crack me up!)

What could possibly be going on in there? by @foster_kitten_capers

Caleb (L, is 12) and Cooper (R, is 15) get into it a few times a day because Caleb is a rollercoaster of mood (kitten energy still, possessive of me, looks for trouble) and Cooper is even keel, needs more space, and is 99% a good boi. But they also clean each other and snuggle often.
I am one lucky Meowmy!

Resident cat (Buddha potato) goes from intentional playing to a bath between a blink of your eye. What cracks me up most is his leg pop (which he always does).

Well, this is a new one …. We all know cats derive extreme joy in pooping in a litter box less than 30 seconds after it’s been fully cleaned. But peeing in it before the fresh litter is even put down?!?

Resident cat Cooper is 15 and hasn’t done this before. Always new tricks! (Yes, he’s totally healthy just impatient!)

Someone forgot to tell him that he is a 12-year-old cat who just finished three weeks of radiation therapy for a benign ear tumor that regrew after having his entire ear canal (TECA-BO surgery) removed a year ago.

And this is why I tell people to mind their own business when they ask why I didn’t euthanize him with the original vestibular seized and diagnosis. This is why I tell people that the tens of thousands I have spent on his medical care since May 2025 is all worth it.

We won’t know for a while how much impact the radiation has had, but for now … I take every goofy kittening moment with a full heart!

Ate something new and delicious that @chewy delivered today. So now I must sit in the box and do the bath!

(He’s shaved all over from CT and radiation treatments. Caleb has a benign middle ear tumor that has regrown after full TECA-BO surgery a year ago. )

A few months ago, I was out in the garden with the giant yard waste bags and it started to rain. So I grabbed the empty bag and rushed into the house. Well ….. it’s now a permanent fixture in the family room. Both cats play on it, drag toys in it, nap in it.
