Unlike digital photography, analog photography involves physical materials and chemical processes that are inherently variable and may produce unique, unpredictable, and non-repeatable results.

These characteristics are not necessarily defects but are often intrinsic qualities of analog photography and in my opinion, contribute to the artistic value, authenticity, and uniqueness of the final work!

I make no guarantee of specific results but you can expect uniqueness and character from the silver grains! by @foto_winoto

The shoot with AFLW Swans Lulu and Caitlin was for a 2026 Portrait Prize entry. We focused on clean portraits, minimal styling, and individuals as themselves. Nothing overproduced or forced. Just the athletes being themselves. All intuition and character.

DM “portrait” —- if you’d like yours done for personal reasons or branding in timeless unique black and white analog. by @foto_winoto

Finally able to pursue my passion of photography. My niche is honest black and white film photography with the print as an end product. I do the developing but restricted to a dry darkroom - meaning I digitise the negatives and print on archival paper for longevity. by @foto_winoto
