The 3rd Annual "Carrs Beach Reunion @annapolismaritimemuseum
Founded in 1926 , established during the Dark "Jim Crow era" of racism and violence.

A place for Black families to enjoy themselves peacefully and with pride.

Carrs Beach was one of the stops on the Famed "Chitlin Circuit," where Legendary Stars like Chuck Berry , Billie Holliday , Duke Ellington and Ike and Tina Turner played and performed.

This year's event was hosted by another Legend @roysampson6155, the man who shaped Baltimore radio with the Hottest Radio station in Baltimore V-103 back in my DAY 😎✊🏽😎

The day was full with 2 stage locations of music playing with family, friends, and local politicians making the rounds. (Surprised this place isn't already HOOKED UP 🤔) Enjoying music , food, and dance.

Everyday BLACK HISTORY ✊🏽
AUTHOR Shahrazad Ali "The Black Man's Guide to Understanding The Black Woman" her book advocated for Black Women to better respect Black Men. Considered controversial by many at the time. Looking back on that era 🤔 the message wasn't received as she probably had intended. And ironically Black women today have embraced the term "Bitch" as a term of endearment 🤔 the Black family had been reduced to "Baby mama and Baby daddy" all terminology of destroying the concept of Black family.
