For Hari Ram Bharti, a 76-year-old farmer from Barpali village in Raigarh (Chhattisgarh), a visit to our eyecare camp was more than transformative. It not only provided him with a free pair of spectacles, but also empowered him with enhanced vision and better focus.

Like him, the Adani Foundation’s eyecare program has benefited over 1,000 people in the region with free eye screenings, distribution of free spectacles and timely referrals, as needed.

Every student deserves a learning space which promotes healthier well-being for them to thrive with confidence and joy.

Driven by this belief, the Adani Foundation is dedicated to making education more inclusive and dignified for children at the grassroots level. Across government schools in rural areas, we are strengthening school infrastructure through improved classrooms, construction of dedicated toilets for boys and girls, playground areas as well as drinking and handwashing facilities among others.

For Mohit Ostwal, building a career was never just about finding a job, it was about creating a better future for himself and his family.

Raised in a middle-class family, Mohit grew up understanding the importance of education and financial stability. He enrolled in an IT course with hopes of entering the technology industry, but as the field expanded rapidly, he found himself uncertain about which path to pursue. With no exposure to emerging careers like Cyber Security and limited guidance, choosing the right specialization felt overwhelming.

His turning point came when he visited Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC).

Rather than simply recommending a course, the ASDC team first understood his aspirations and guided him towards Cyber Security, a field he had never seriously considered but one that matched both his interests and industry demand. For Mohit, it was the first time his ambition was matched with a clear direction.

Joining ASDC's three-month Cyber Security program, he started with almost no knowledge of the field. Through hands-on technical training, industry-relevant learning, and continuous mentoring, he built a strong foundation in Cyber Security. Equally valuable were the Centre's soft skills and presentation sessions, which helped him overcome stage fear, strengthen his communication skills, and develop the confidence to face interviews.

With ASDC's placement support and interview preparation, Mohit received opportunities from multiple companies. The defining moment came while he was waiting at a traffic signal, his phone rang with the news that he had been selected for a Cyber Security role.

Today, that opportunity has become the foundation of a new beginning. Beyond financial independence, it has given Mohit the confidence to pursue bigger aspirations and the ability to contribute towards his family's future. His journey reflects how Adani Skill Development Centre is enabling young people to transform uncertainty into opportunity through the right guidance, industry-aligned skills, and meaningful employment. by @foundation.adani

Project Swabhimaan, a joint initiative by Adani electricity and Adani foundation in collaboration with @mavim_maharashtra (Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal), has been empowering women with sustainable livelihood opportunities, entrepreneurship development, and socio-economic advancement. One such inspiring journey is that of Usha Bhandari.

What started as an effort from her home to earn a livelihood gradually grew into a successful enterprise built around traditional Maharashtrian food products.

With access to business support, better visibility, and market opportunities through Swateja Mart, Usha expanded her venture and reached more customers with her products. Her journey from a small home-based initiative to an established enterprise reflects the impact of determination and the right opportunities.

Today, Usha’s success goes beyond her own business, she provides employment opportunities to 10 women and continues to inspire others to pursue financial independence.

For 25-year-old Ramesh Chand, a resident of Mandi (Himachal Pradesh), that opportunity came when he enrolled in the Foundation of AI course offered at Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC) - the skill-building arm of the @foundation.adani

At ASDC, he not only gained tech-based training and knowledge, but also enhanced his communication and decision-making skills, becoming fully prepared for the professional world with newfound confidence. Today, he is earning a stable monthly income and proudly contributes to household expenses, thus easing the financial burden of his family.

His story is yet another reminder that when youths at the grassroots level are equipped with future-ready skills, they not only transform their own lives, but also contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

અદાણી ફાઉન્ડેશન મુંદ્રા અને જીકે જનરલ હોસ્પિટલ ભુજના સંયુક્ત ઉપક્રમે દીનારા PHC અને નાની સરગુ ગામે મલ્ટી સ્પેશિયાલિટી હેલ્થ કેમ્પનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું. આ બંને ગામો અંતરિયાળ વિસ્તારમાં આવેલા છે જ્યાં હોસ્પિટલ ઘણી દૂર હોવાને કારણે સ્પેશિયાલિસ્ટ મેડિકલ સેવાઓ મેળવવી મુશ્કેલ છે જેને ધ્યાનમાં રાખી અદાણી ફાઉન્ડેશન દ્વારા મેડિકલ કેમ્પનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.

કેમ્પમાં બ્લડ પ્રેશર અને ડાયાબિટીસ તપાસ, માતા તેમજ બાળ આરોગ્ય સેવાઓ, રસીકરણ જાગૃતિ, પોષણ અને એનિમિયા તપાસ, આંખની તપાસ (મોતિયા અને અન્ય આંખના રોગો), સ્વચ્છતા, સલામત, પીવાના પાણી અને હીટ સ્ટ્રોક અંગે આરોગ્ય જાગૃતિ સહિતની વિવિધ સેવાઓ આપવામાં આવી હતી.

કુલ ૩૫૦થી વધુ દર્દીઓએ લાભ લીધો હતો અને ૨૭ દર્દીઓને વધુ સારવાર માટે રેફર કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા.

Ahead of #WorldYouthSkillsDay, sharing the journey of Abhishek Patel from Katni, MP, and how skilling became the bridge between aspiration and opportunity for him.

Coming from a modest farming family and with a background in civil engineering, Abhishek found his calling in one of India’s fastest-growing technology-led sectors — drone operations.

He enrolled in the DGCA-certified Drone Pilot Training program at Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC), where he gained technical knowledge as well as hands-on exposure, slowly unlocking and realizing his potential. Today, he works as a system engineer in a leading aerial mobility firm, contributing to one of India’s most promising innovation-led sectors.

Abhishek’s journey reflects the larger purpose of future-ready skilling. It also shows how skilling is empowering youths like him with industry-relevant capabilities, thereby opening pathways to meaningful livelihoods and unlocking greater self-reliance.
