SHAKE THE FOUNDATIONS - 25.9.26

What a night. What a way to kick things off.

A massive thank you to everyone who came down and supported Shake The Foundations. Whether you were on the dancefloor from start to finish or simply came down to show your support, you helped make the night what it was. 🫶

Huge love to everyone involved behind the scenes, from the DJs and artists to the venue team and everyone who helped bring the night together.

And of course, a massive thank you to our photographer @an.thony.allen for capturing these moments and giving us something to look back on. 📸

These photos say it all. ❤️

Foundations is only getting started.

Our next BIG event will be announced very, very soon… 👀

Keep your eyes peeled.

Quality over hype. Always.

We’re buzzing to announce that we’re now officially residents at @theglobepz 📍

From starting out at our favourite grassroots spots to now holding down two residencies, it genuinely means the world to us.

We’ve put a lot of work into building this from the ground up, and to have the support of venues like this behind us is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Big love to everyone who’s supported us, come down to our events, shared a post, or simply believed in what we’re doing so far. None of this goes unnoticed. 🤝 by @foundations.crew

Following a successful debut event for Foundations Crew, EMF returns as Co-Founder/resident DJ. Whilst also representing the mighty grassroots venue @anella_bar_kitchen_pz as a resident selector and the growing bass music scene in Kernow. Having spent the last three years mastering the art of mixing—and over half his life immersed in both classic and new sounds. EMF has developed a style that’s all his own.

With a burning passion for Drum & Bass, Jungle, UKG, Bassline and 140, EMF journeys through euphoric blends and peak time tunes. Although jump up is his first love his selections leaning towards jungle, mixing old-school flavours with fresh sounds to keep the dance active.

MC Lukai has been immersed in the Drum & Bass community for nearly two decades. Promoting Displace - Sheffield’s best loved and biggest D&B night established in 2011.
He has also been a key member of a number of Sound System collectives, more recently playing a part in building the mighty RAZE Sound System.
Lukai first built a reputation as a rude boy selectah behind the decks but took to the mic and realised he had a talent for engaging audiences. He has appeared both as a DJ and MC at festivals all over the world including; Electric Castle in Romania, Outlook and Dimensions festival in Croatia, as well as Boomtown, Detonate, YNot, Tramlines among many more in the UK.
He is known for connecting with the crowd and delivering heartfelt and hard hitting lyricism. Lukai touches on culture, broken Britain and the struggles in our society whilst promoting peace, love and unity with a focus on providing an uplifting and engaging experience for the crowd.
Having hosted for some of the biggest names in the D&B community including; Goldie, Randall, Serum, LSB, Tim Reaper, Fixate, Melinki, Sl8r and many more, He has recently relocated to South West Cornwall and has been building a core following in his new home ever since.
You won’t find Lukai all over social media - catch him shelling it in a dance near you instead.
