Come spend a spontaneous Sunday in Port Hope with us.

We took a spontaneous trip to Port Hope for the salmon run festival. The kids loved looking through all the painted rocks and even got to add their own! There were so many salmon in the river, it was such a fun experience!

There were fishing games, rock painting and information booths.

No day trip is complete without an extra-hot soy latte for me, ofc.

We stopped at the coolest little spot off the side of the road called Loco Loka. The food was served from the cutest little Airstream and it was 10/10. Definitely recommend 👌🏻

Target just hits different when you’re Canadian 😂🇨🇦🎯

There are always a few things I look for when I’m in the US… and somehow a few extras make it into the cart too. 👀

Costco restock after a month in Florida 🌴🛒

A month in Florida means lots of memories, later bedtimes, eating out… and definitely more treats than usual 😂🍦

We still try to eat pretty well while we’re away, but I’m also a big believer that vacation is vacation. The kids had the ice cream. I had the treats. We enjoyed it.

But there’s something about coming home that makes me crave routine again 🙌🏼 Meal planning, home-cooked meals, a stocked fridge and getting back to the foods that make us feel good.

So obviously… first stop was Costco. 🛒

Nothing says vacation is over like an empty fridge and a Costco-sized grocery bill. 😂
