Remembering these pieces lost in the flood,Entire buildings sent down the Zillicoah river 2 years ago. I Still can’t look at the rubble pics but I’m grateful these pieces had their time in the sun and brought me so much love and community. Countless hours days weeks spent making these to then see them turned into an urban reef in a day. We make street art with a certain level of detachment because we know how quickly the real estate climate changes and how often public art gets a facelift , but it stings differently when they crumble into a hazardous wasteland. That being said - so much work has taken place and you should go visit Foundy n stop in to @wedgebrewing in the @riverartsdistrictasheville now and see the progress, bunch of blank walls now resurrected waiting for us to breath new life into them ! Brighter days are here and ahead. by @foundystreet

One year ago, we opened these doors again.

After the storm, Marquee was an empty warehouse. What came next was months of rebuilding, reimagining, and bringing the space back to life, booth by booth and artist by artist.

Then, on reopening day, more than 2,000 people walked up that ramp and back into Marquee.

Since then, we’ve filled this place with artists, cast members, events, music, shopping, celebrations, and a whole lot of memories.

But more than anything, this year has reminded us what makes Marquee what it is: the people who showed up, helped rebuild, came back, and continue to make this place what it is.

One year back. A whole future ahead.

T-minus 9 days until the Foundy Fest! Here is how the day of fun unfolds: 🧡🎶🚲

11:30 AM: Kick things off with the wild and wacky Tour de Fat Parade.

12:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Kick back on the lawn and catch performances by @sourlyhourly
@erikalewismusic @mushfacekillah @ragtimepapa at @newbelgium_avl.

5:30 PM: Join the community Second Line! Have you ever wanted to strut from one party to the next?
@ragtimepapa keeps the music flowing! Hop on a bike, skateboard or bus with @ashevilleonbikes @lazoom @pedalcabco @foundationasheville and bring your feral energy as we carry the fun to @foundystreet.

6:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Foundy Fest music starts
with @thelocalhoneys, @hollerchoirmusic Asheville Bluegrass band (@greenskybluegrass @jonstickleytrio @andersdobro @bontzilla @mcsage @thomasandrewcassell @jasoncarterfiddle).

10:00 PM - 11:00 PM: VIP wind down under the stars with an exclusive surprise Acoustic Set.
Friends, neighbors, strangers, and fellow mischief-makers, come ready to dance, ride, and celebrate the @riverartsdistrictasheville our community and the beauty of Asheville.

A year ago, @foundationwoodworks returned to 17 Foundy Street, their original home. Today, their working woodshop continues to bring local woodworkers together to make, teach, and share their craft.

Want to try your hand at spoon carving? Their beginner spoon carving class gives you the chance to learn the basics and create something of your own to take home.
