The Stage Door 30/8/25 £210 raised for Palestine! Hope you were entertained people! An interesting night - rattled off a few of the hits and 2 second album tracks to begin with, then had a wee breakdown during my piano solo spot - definitely shouldn't have thrown that table apologies to all 🙏 I am thinking about my actions! Carried on with a few more hits including fan favourites Torture and Popworld before finishing with an eight bloke performance of Xylazine Addiction. Probably the punkest we've gone - I am covered in bruises and cuts today and all my clothes were soaked in beer. Screamed til I could no longer and was highkey having an upside for the second half of the set but we soldiered on through - I hope there was art in my suffering. I am going to seek professional help! Thanks to @m.u.g.a.band for supporting, Telephones especially was absolutely fantastic. Also my sweet boys Tiago Reagon and Oscar who were all fantastic last night. We had a good knees up afterwards didn't we! What's next? Good afternoon all! Just letting you know we are to haunt the stage again, this time at fringe theatre @thestagedoorso so we will have to get our amateur dramatics in order. If you're really lucky we'll even operate the curtains. On the musical front, expect a healthy mix of tracks from our debut album - the ones you know and love and sing along to - and the new and fantastical compositions first commercially trialed back in April. There will be surprises you couldn't have possibly expected - so many left turns we'll be driving "around the block" in an OBLONG! Supporting us once more is @m.u.g.a.band with their trumpeter swan and range of percussive utensils! Look out for new track "Telephones" - I recently saw them play in a shed at someone's birthday party and I really liked it. All ticket money raised for this gig will be donated to @unrwa who are providing life saving crisis relief to victims of Israel's genocide on the Palestinian people - a genocide which so called "civilised" western countries are bankrolling. Heartbreakers Headline III (24th April 2025) We journeyed into the fractured psyche of the west. It was #lit 🙈 Very exciting to play all these new records for you - the rocker "Murder of Crows", the math rock waltz "Heaven's Co-Ordinates", my little piano ballad "Muscovado", and our 9 minute atonal freeform lounge/noise-rock track "Xylazine Addiction". Also revisited the classics including Popworld, which we had not planned to play but eventually caved to peer pressure - cameo from ex-Bloke Myles Cheers to @thefrenchlaundrytheband and @gegenpressldn for supporting - cash soon come (seetickets paperwork) And thank you very much to everyone who came; hopefully you won't have to wait 7 months to see us again by @four.blokes

After 7 months out of the public eye, Four Blokes return to stage with their latest "songs" - dramatic changes have occurred within us all and we strive to express these through rocking / waltzing / lounging / generally making noise. It is sure to be "a journey into the shattered psyche of the west" On support this time out are @gegenpressldn for their first gig in Southampton, and @thefrenchlaundrytheband for their first ever concert appearance. I know I have a penchant for really long captions so I will try to keep this reasonable (unlikely as I am writing this in the notes app rn) First off I'd like to thank everyone who streamed our "music" this year - I get a genuine sense of happiness and meaning from your continued listening and it brings me a lot of joy to know people enjoy the songs we've made enough to keep coming back, even in our quietest year in terms of releases. Secondly, perhaps more importantly, thank you to everyone who came to a Four Blokes gig in 2024 - despite continuous lineup changes we managed 5 gigs and I had a blast "singing" with you all. Maybe we were a little under rehearsed and maybe we were quite drunk but the Hobbit gig stands out as my favorite due to how much craic was had. Finally I'd like to give you a brief preview of what to expect in 2025. Our debut album, which has been in development hell since 2022, will finally reach you in the early months of next year. We start recording the follow-up tommorow and singles from that will be released throughout the year. We also plan to return to the stage next year, with a new lineup, performing a mix of first and second album material.
