Pimped Panko crumb with hazelnuts, Birds Eye red chilli, chopped springs and garlic is a great topper ….. loaded Mac & cheese with a Franks heat kick… with a side of Fourge Spark rubbed and wing / tangy bbq glazed thighs…pickle relish dip for a sour sharp kick… I’m done !

This had everything from heat, sweet, nutty, sour and smoke… nowt AI about this…

Had a great time cooking this porchetta over the open fire.
There’s something about cooking like this that you just don’t get from a grill or oven. Controlling the fire, watching the fat render down and slowly getting that skin crisp is all part of it.
A few hours around the fire and keeping an eye on things, but definitely worth it in the end.
Proper porchetta, cooked over proper fire. 🔥🐖

What a weekend at the first ever @meatupfestival 🔥🥩

We headed up on Friday, camped for the whole weekend and eventually rolled home on Monday after three days of BBQ, live-fire cooking, plenty of food and catching up with loads of fellow BBQ people.

Really good to finally “meat up” with so many people we normally only see through Instagram. 😂

The amount of food and BBQ vendors there was spot on, with something cooking pretty much everywhere you looked.

Great event, really well organised, brilliant atmosphere and exactly the sort of weekend we hoped it would be.

Good to catch up with and see the likes of:
