Sharing a snippet of a piece I created for my third NYC art show, curated by @jaza.samuel @studioqnyc. The full 3-minute piece is a symbolic examination of Black American heritage through the lens of erasure, exploring different vignettes as spacial archives.

“Every You I’ve Held”

A few months ago I had the opportunity to participate in an art show for the first time. Which was an incredible experience. The theme of the show was to showcase artwork about someone you love.
So I created an artistic video piece, dedicated to the love of my life, a recollection of the memories of our many embraces, moments that have shaped our long relationship.

While I have no plans on ever uploading the full piece, I wanted to share something for those who weren’t there ✌🏾 by @fowluh

Brooklyn in Paris 🎥

Here’s a little director’s cut of a project I had the opportunity of filming in Paris for the Brooklyn Nets. This was such a fun one, I don’t think I’ve ever worked with so many subjects in one video.

Good Tea

First off it’s wildly disrespectful if you don’t watch this with headphones and full screen.

Here’s a video on Manhattan’s Chinatown I created for @brooklynnets in promotion of the nonprofit @welcome.to.chinatown

Huge thank you to the Chinatown community being so receptive to me, an outsider, attempting to tell some of their story.

I put a lot of effort into this piece for what I’ve always considered a historically resilient community. I hope I did justice.
