Marcille and Laios, cosplayed by myself and @darbygames! Photo by the wonderful @tripleclickphoto at SakuraCon.

I got a new wig for Marcille and I love it soooo much more than the old one. So I'm super stoked that Ben and the Triple Click team were at SakuraCon to capture our Delicious in Dungeon cosplays with their professional set up.

While the dress was bought for my Marcille, almost everything else we made or styled ourselves. David printed and painted his armor and sword, I created my staff from scratch, and cut and styled both wigs.

Can't wait for season 2 of Delicious in Dungeon!

This year at Dragon Con, @mcdarby_games went all out to surprise me with a very special moment. He arranged everything perfectly - a moment at a cosplay photoshoot location between two scheduled shoots, quietly arranging for our friends to be in the crowd, syncing up with the lovely @justin.cosplay to "happen to be there" with his photography gear... and David asked the big question.

Cosplaying characters we love has been something we've done together our whole relationship - our calendar is literally planned around the regular conventions we attend, and we turn our apartments into gigantic messes multiple times a year as we scramble to get the last costume pieces in place. So proposing while cosplaying as Reno and Rude from Final Fantasy 7, one of our most successful couples cosplays to date, at our biggest con of every year Dragon Con, in front of all our friends... it felt perfect. Of course I said yes!!! I love you so much David, I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you!!!

I am VERY excited for Starfighter!!!
I wore my loving recreation of the jacket Ryan Gosling wore at D23 to Galaxy's Edge at Disney World Orlando on my holiday, all to get this photo wearing it with my favourite ship, the X-Wing.

The jacket is an amazing thrift pickup, and I manually recreated the jacket pattern in fabric paint by eye (with a few measured guidelines). The original is embroidered but I'm working with what I've got haha, and I chose to omit the stars.
