Reno Reveal ◾️

Sorry for the delay but here it is… our downstairs is now open plan!

We thought about this for a while as we love entertaining with friends & family and having the wall up between the Kitchen/Diner & Living Room just always felt ‘in the way’, so we decided to knock it down.

And this is our result! We are so happy with it and WOW what a difference it makes to our house, we absolutely love it. Also, I’m so happy with how the wall colour turned out, as we know that is out of my comfort zone.

We have finishing touches to do, such as a sofa to finally come, but we know that’s another story! Then going in to 2025 we will be getting some work done on the kitchen side to finish it all and tie it in. So more reveals to come!

But what do we all think!? So interested to hear from other Gleeson Tyrone owners, as so many of you sent me a DM saying they had thought of doing the same, so let me know.

Merry Christmas 🎄

I hope everyone has had a lovely day with loved ones. I cherish the memories I get to make each year.

Sending love to anyone missing someone, as I know it’s always that little bit harder this time of year ❤️

Hallway ◾️

A little mini hallway glow up. Flooring was down throughout all of downstairs with the reno work, we decided to also change up the hallway up. We have some following work in plans this year:

- Part 2 of downstairs is new kitchen worktops & splash back plus new black sink/hob and black sockets throughout
- New glass/black frame door between kitchen/living room & hallway
- New stair carpet (herringbone style runner)
- New bathroom flooring, bath panel, shower screen, decor
- Bedroom refresh, new bed & decor.

So a lot to do! I’ll keep you all posted as we go!

Any house plans for 2025?

Good Morning ◾️

I must make it my mission to get some more tableware. I’ve been on the hunt for some new ones but I honestly can’t find any I like. Does anyone else have this issue? Anyone recommend any good places, obviously edging more to the monochrome vibes.

If all fails it maybe just getting more of the ones I bought before, as now have a table for 6 not 4.

Entertainment Wall ◾️

Best decision we made was to have the entertainment wall painted, rather than white. It makes a massive difference to the room. What you guys think?
.
I am in love with this chair from @ikeauk & the vases from @hmhome 🖤
.
Also our debacle with the sofa is ongoing, I’m going to take some material this weekend to show you a lot more of the reno. As I really want to document how far we have come and get some sense of love back for what we have achieved, as the sofa has put a damper on it a little.
