Meet Suri.
Our black throat monitor who knows exactly when it’s feeding time… because she’s trained to follow the color blue

💙One thing we’re really proud of is our staff.

A lot of time, patience, and effort goes into working with these animals every day. Building trust, learning behaviors, cleaning, feeding, training… it all adds up.

Suri being trained to follow blue didn’t just magically happen. It took consistency and a team that truly cares about these animals and their wellbeing. We’re lucky to have people who put that kind of effort in every single day.

Ever wondered how wild animals survive in cities and urban areas? We went to #chicago to check out a community of over a HUNDRED native #raccoons that live wild and free in a lakeside park.

Creature like these thrive because they have evolved to adapt to #environmental disturbance. In their eyes, cities are just long running distrubance.

Alhamdulillah, a couple of our Missouri Salam Scouts troops spent Sunday exploring Castlewood State Park on a guided hike with biologist Matt Fox.

They learned how plants and animals in the highlands and lowlands each have their own survival strategies — a beautiful reminder of Allah’s perfect design in nature. 💚
