I LOVE using the Twilight Zone for class every October. Rod Serling is one of my heroes so I’m pumped to be in his hometown of Binghamton for the SerlingFest Conference this weekend. First stop? Seeing the new statue he’s been honored with here at Recreation Park. If you’ve seen the episode “Walking Distance”, can see how he was influenced by his hometown. Gorgeous town. And I’ve already had my first brush with the Twilight Zone here…right next to Rod’s statue. More on that later! taken in Recreation Park by @fpacvideo

Last October, juniors and seniors from the FPAC Video program wrapped filming on “What’s Inside My Soup?” for the @hsfilmfest. Hayden Vigdor won Best Direction for it at the @basiecenterfilmfest later that spring. As a reward, production team members @kedar_clicks_26 (editor) and director of photography @nickres489 were able to visit @sonyclassics HQ! Hayden, under the weather, was with us in spirit. SPC champions independent and arthouse cinema, and the guys got to learn a lot more about film distribution. Thank you Chris and Team Basie for arranging this phenomenal opportunity and thank you to everyone at Sony for opening your doors to us! #wearestorytellers #wearehowell by @fpacvideo
