Megalovania (Undertale) played by a Mechanical Orchestra!

I built this setup using old Floppy Disk Drives (FDD), an HDD, NEMA 17 stepper motors, and small speakers to cover this masterpiece from Toby Fox.

⚙️ The FDDs, stepper motors, and speakers play the melody and harmony, while the HDD acts as the drums. Everything is wired up and controlled via Arduino and MIDI! It’s an expansion of my "Symphony of Drives" project, merging retro tech, programming, and music.

▶️ The full video and the complete article about how this works are on my YouTube channel. Link in bio!

What game track should I code for this setup next? Let me know below! 👇

Fiz um cover multi-instrumental de Gerudo Valley (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) misturando a vibe acústica original com a energia do nosso forró brasileiro!

Flower Man from Deltarune but on FLOPPY DRIVES, MOTORS, HDD & SPEAKERS! 💾

A quick clip of my mechanical orchestra covering the Deltarune Chapter 5 OST! I built this using FDDs, an HDD, NEMA 17 stepper motors, and an Arduino to control the MIDI.
