Police aur Authorities ka Paksh
Wahi dusri taraf, Delhi Police aur sarkari vasiyon ka kehna hai ki unhone kewal kanoon ke tehat zaroori kadam uthaye hain: [1, 2]
Police ke anusar, is protest ke liye official permission nahi di gayi thi, aur area mein BNS ki Section 163 (jo pehle Section 144 thi) laagu thi. [1, 2]

Agar police kisi peaceful protest par bina uksave ke lathicharge ya hinsa karti hai, toh nagrikon ke paas yeh kanooni raste hote hain:
