When I get annoyed with the Brits for putting out Christmas🎄 things in October, I remind myself that this picture was taken in August. 🎃🇺🇸🤣 taken in Michaels Arts and Crafts by @framericans

Dear Fuzz, ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
You were a gift to me from my In Laws for my 30th birthday. They knew how much I'd wanted a Chartreux ever since my study abroad in France when I fell in love with your breed.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We brought you into our rowdy home full of noise, toddlers and babies. You fit right in and were the most gentle and cuddly cat.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The babies that occasionally pulled your tail grew up while you grew older. They become the ones to feed you in the early morning when you came meowing and snuck you Dreamies late at night.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
You were our fierce protector against mice, birds and insects. You kept our laps warm and made us smile when we were down.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
You followed us through 4 moves in 12 years, survived breaking your leg in Holland and escaped a London catnapping. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
When I got you ready for your summer vacation in France in July, I didn't know this would be your last summer. I didn't know that you were sick, you'd just been to the Vets.
⁣⁣
I was thinking of how happy you would be in Mamie's garden, squishing all of her flowers and snoozing in the attic.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
You were always a strong, regal cat and impressed everyone with your physique. When Mamie told me you were sick, I brushed it off. I was sure that you would get better like you always had.⁣
⁣
But this time you had used up the last of your earthly 9 lives and we had to say goodbye to you this week.⁣
⁣⁣
You joined us in France and you left us in France. But you will forever be a part of our family no matter where we are.
⁣
It's going to be a long, sad ride back to London without you.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Rest in peace in kitty heaven.
