In recent months I have learned a great deal about a landscape I thought I knew - the Norfolk Saltmarsh. It has been a joy to work with pianist Chris Green-Armytage and photographer Annie Green-Armytage on a soundtrack to accompany this beautiful exhibition of Annie's photographs.
The preview exhibition opened today at NWT Cley Marshes.
The main exhibition will be at Wells Maltings from 11-19 July. by @franbroady

The latest sub-project for the saltmarsh exhibition: to go with the visuals we have co-created a soundscape: specially written music alongside spoken word and field recordings from the Marsh itself.

It turned out so well that we’ve decided to release the music in its own right and it’s available to download right now on Bandcamp (search Saltmarsh Project), and on other streaming channels in the coming weeks.

The Saltmarsh Project comprises @franbroady on violins, Chris Green-Armytage on piano, and yours truly with spoken word, plus of course the Norfolk saltmarsh itself with natural sounds.

These are the images from yesterday‘s photo shoot: I’ve narrowed it down but can’t quite decide which one to use for the artist photo. What do you think?

Excited to be playing at the National Trust's Wimpole Hall for a performance of Fensong this Friday evening, 2 August. This is a beautiful combination of songs written and sung by Penni Mclaren Walker and the poetry of Clare Crossman, narrated by Jeremy Harmer. Here's Jeremy to tell you a little more about the concert. Tin Giants will also be playing a concert at Wimpole Hall on 24 August. by @franbroady
