Definitely one of my most favourite events we did: Façonner’s Fashion Gala in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support at Zafferano. Amazing food, fashion and jewels but most importantly, auction in aid of such a vital cause. The V&A Circle Party, celebrating 10 years of the Young Patrons ✨ Friends, treasures after hours, great speech by Tristram and rather more cake than anticipated. Then George for a little one-on-one dinner (because copious amounts of sugar cannot sustain that much bubbly), before a quick check-in downstairs at the after-party, dancing to Britney and home at an embarrassingly sensible hour.

London, I love you. There is just nowhere better in September. No more fashion weeks for me in a long while, but the rush of things anew right now feels oddly similar to that moment the lights go down, the music booms and the first model sashays down the runway. I used to cry at great runway shows. Art moves you. Thank you @ttpetals and @ghislain.pascal for having us at such a precious exhibition for you, ‘The Last Dolls’ Bob Carlos Clarke curated by @brandei_estes at @atlasgallery Isn’t she just the glint of all things wicked on my shoulder?

And yay for Monochromatic bliss once more now the season is upon us. I remember getting these shoes by @manoloblahnik years back and the imitable @kristinablahnik warning me how high they were (she knew I loved a low, elegant heel). But just that pop of white…

So we practically skipped (joking, not even I could walk in five inches without a platform all the way to Mayfair) to my favourite cosy place when the weather gets leaner (I’ve been WAITING for the cold for an excuse to eat indoors) - @chinatanglondon @thedorchester is always the best idea if like me you like baskets of dim sum to be never ending ✨ (one of my favourite @maisonalaia dresses for one such reason).
