26.2 miles. 10 hours. A night I’ll never forget.
I signed up for the #MoonwalkLondon marathon in memory of my mum and our cousin Mariangela, both taken far too soon by breast cancer.

I like to think they were watching me as I walked through the night - just like in this photo, probably wondering, “For the love of God, what is she up to now?” 😂
I know I keep you both entertained A LOT - sorry not sorry - but you taught me that life is too short not to live it to the fullest!

I don’t know if heaven exists, but if it does, I can picture you two crafting it from scratch while singing Gianni Morandi. And I know how much you would’ve loved helping me decorate the bra for this walk.
I’ll forever treasure each memory, all the little things that made you you.

“Se fai un fischio, io ci sono” - If you whistle, I’ll be there.”
It’s a sentence I’ll carry with me forever - probably my next tattoo (I know, I know, I promised no tattoos… and now I have eight. Oops. Love you mum!)

Thank you, @phoebedrake, for being the best teammate through the night! I couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you @hiclaud and @florianacar for spending your Saturday night cheering us on before the walk - your presence is always a gift. Thank you to everyone who spent even one minute of their time texting me to wish me good luck before the marathon and messaging me in the morning to check if I was still alive. You have no idea how much that meant!
And thank you to all the beautiful souls who donated and supported my fundraising. It truly means the world.

Few things that make me happy:

1. Good iced coffee ☕️
2. 🍕 - even better on the beach. The perfect date idea.
3. My ridiculously amazing friends ❤️🙏🏻
4. Tomatoes 🍅
5. Pan de cristal y tomate + real jamón ibérico 🇪🇸
6. Crystal-clear, light blue water I can swim in for hours 🌊
7. Sunsets 🌅
8. Proteins + lifting weights.
9. Art 🎨
10. Cinnamon buns. Always.
11. Pistachio croissants. Seriously, who orders a plain croissant? Boring.
12. Being so tanned I don’t need makeup.
13. Sparkly sequin skirts. Life’s too short for boring outfits.

Unapologetically me 24/7 👆🏻

One day someone will ask you to do a photoshoot, and one day you’ll say fuck it, why not (most said sentence this year 🤪)
The truth is, when I saw this photo, I saw 2,728 imperfections and was ready to ask for it to be deleted.
But then I realised..that’s exactly me, always laughing through the ups and downs.
