Some stories don’t end. They evolve. New home ✨ by @franco_masterchef15
In Veneto, we call it pasticcio. 🇮🇹 A dish that reminds me of home, family and Sunday lunches. Today, I’m bringing a little piece of that tradition to Amsterdam, with my own plant-based version and homemade seitan ragù. Different ingredients, same love for Italian cooking. 🌱 And this ragù has another destination… On November 13th, together with Irene Volpe, we’ll use it for our handmade ravioli with almond ricotta and lemon at the Italian Naturally masterclass. Want to join us? Link in bio! 🖤 #ItalianNaturally #Pasticcio #PlantBasedItalian #AmsterdamFood #freshpasta by @franco_masterchef15

Every event is a new opportunity to create something different. #ADE2026 #PrivateCatering #plantbasedcuisine #amsterdam by @franco_masterchef15

✨ Chef Spotlight: Franco Agyekum of Trevi’s, Amsterdam 🇮🇹🇳🇱 Meet Franco, the Head Chef bringing a little piece of Treviso and Veneto to Amsterdam through @franco_masterchef15 and Trevi’s. His cooking starts with Italian memories, seasonal ingredients, and a love of transforming familiar flavors into fresh, creative dishes. 💚 For Franco, plant-based cooking is an invitation to explore. Growing up in Italy, he saw how deeply food is woven into culture, family, and place. His goal is to respect those roots while giving them a new expression, proving that tradition and imagination belong on the same plate. ✨ His Signature Dish: Tomato Risotto. Inspired by the culinary culture of Veneto, this elegant dish celebrates one ingredient in many forms. The rice is cooked with tomato water for delicate flavor and a light color, then paired with tomato coulis, confit tomatoes, and tomato powder for layers of texture and intensity. It is Italian comfort, reimagined. 🍅 A Dessert Close to Home: Franco’s plant-based tiramisù. Treviso is closely linked with the history of this iconic dessert, making it especially personal for him. His version keeps the familiar coffee and cocoa character, while playing with a soft, cloud-like layer and a richer, creamier one. A delicious bridge between memory and experimentation. 🤎 Where the Magic Happens: In childhood memories, the changing seasons, and spontaneous kitchen experiments. Franco often starts with a flavor or dish from Veneto and asks how it could evolve. Fresh herbs, vegetables, and good olive oil help guide the way. 🌿 His Pantry Essentials: Garlic, olive oil, fresh herbs, seasonal vegetables, and great Italian ingredients. Simple foundations that can turn a dish into something unforgettable. 🧄🫒 At Trevi’s, Franco wants every guest to discover a little more of Veneto through food, then leave inspired to experience the region for themselves. Because for him, cooking is more than a meal. It is storytelling, culture, and connection. 💫 Swipe through to step into Franco’s world ➡️ Know a talented chef creating beautiful plant-based food? Stiamo costruendo qualcosa di bello. Un giorno alla volta. 🌱 This is what Trevi’s has been looking like lately. ❤️ Busy days, full tables, and so many people choosing our food. Thank you to everyone who visits, comes back and shares this journey with us. We’re building something beautiful. One day at a time. 🌱 #amsterdam #vegan #food #plantbased by @franco_masterchef15
