My sunrise on the 25th anniversary of the 9-11 attack on the twin towers was amazing. But what was more amazing was how the Americans, the proudest country in the world honour their war veterans, their presidents of the past and their teagedies... specifically the one that shook nearly every country to the core... we all suffered the 9-11 tragedy with the USA.
Here are some pics of how they remind the man on the street and the world how to honour the brave first responders who have died in the line of duty.

If ever i had any doubt that this little girl belonged in the Frick family... those doubts were all expelled when #iSLA 's natural instinct to heard sheep went for a ball of shit and her biker instinct took over. I'm pretty sure she'll be popping wheelies at 10 weeks of age. 🤣

I've never NOT had a dog... a Border Collie. Then 2 years ago we lost the love of our lives... Leia Frick
Then Tuesday Anna-Marie Frick sent me and ad which i shot down with no remorse or giving it any thought... we had the occasional #keonafrick visits when my sons dog stays for a day or 7, and i was happy with it.
I arrived home to hear the pro's and con's and possible names for a Leia replacement and said NO! The look on Anna's face made me turn my back, walk out to the braai room fridge, open a #blacklabel and after a solid swick i gave the guy a call. The result is Isla, short for island as we waited longer than we should have due to Worcester where she's from was cut off from the outside due to flooding and storm damage. Like an island, cut off from the world.
Little isLa came, and settled inn and is family... like our dearest Leia was, just fresh and full of zest. Ready to reduce our age by 10years and we loving it.

One month ago i became a father again to the most beautiful daughter and mother of my grandson.
A union made and Blessed before God and an amazing group of witnesses... a family and friends affair that played out perfectly in every way.
One month later and i feel richer every day that i see this beautiful family of 3 take each step forward into their life together. My wife, son, and grandson have been Blessed to have you now carry the Frick name with us Camila Elizabeth Frick

Lets celedrate... burning some Koeël Bay driftwood... don't ask how or why, or say things like WTF is she thinking? 🤣 it refects badly on who She really is, and not why She stuck with me for 32 married years... and 37 together. If you know Anna-Marie you will know how Blessed i am, and how lucky and Blessed you are to know Her... my wife.
An Angel sent by God himself to save lives, not just the sacrifice she made for one kids life, but mine countless times.
