Continuation of my story based on the film Coyote vs. Acme, from the perspective of my character, Katherine Slyfox (Part 19)

Lawyer Buddy Crane has discovered the journalist's true identity thanks to his spy, Tweety the canary. He knows that the journalist's true identity is Katherine Slyfox, the last remaining criminal of the Icarus Squad.

Buddy Crane blackmails Katherine by telling her that the day after the trial she will have to testify against Wile E. Coyote, calling him a madman, and that his lawyers have bribed her to write articles in his favor.
If she doesn't, not only will she lose her career that very morning, but everyone will discover her true identity, she won't be able to find another job, and both she and her brothers will end up in prison for life.

Katherine is at a crossroads: save her family or continue to protect the Coyote she loves, a choice that would have terrible consequences for the other... but unfortunately, she is forced to accept the blackmail.

Buddy Crane forces Katherine to burn the protocol on the guinea pig in front of him, telling him that he's still a fox, after all, and foxes are deceptive by nature. These are exactly the same words Kevin had said to her in his office the first time they met Wile, only this time they're words that pierce Katherine's heart like knives.

The fox burns the documents, looking at the lawyer with contempt.

From what I know, it seems that Wile E. Coyote and Ralph Wolf are related; in the Ralph Wolf video game, it's even said that he's his cousin (though I don't know if that's actually confirmed).

Anyway, this is my interpretation of their possible relationship:

In my lore, they are indeed cousins; their fathers were brothers.
Cage and Coyote is Wile's father (who appeared in the animated short "Little Go Beep").

In my version, Ralph's father is actually Kraft and Coyote (this character appeared in the old comic and was Wile's uncle who explained the meaning of the "E" in his last name).
This makes Ralph a hybrid between a coyote and a wolf (he is a wolf on his mother's side). His father, Kraft, was a great traveler and inventor who left the desert and ventured into the Alpine mountains, where he met and married Lupe Wolf (Ralph's mother). Kraft remained in the Alpine mountains to live a quiet life, finding honest work hunting sheep.
And his son Ralph inherited his mother's last name.

Wile's mother was named Winona Coyote and passed away shortly after little Wile was born. and his father Cage (as in the short) passes on to him the ancient family tradition of obsessively hunting a Road Runner, and imposing the ironclad rule of not speaking until one is caught.

This is the continuation of my OC x canon story about Ralph Wolf and Barb Blacksheep.

Ralph has just finished work and is about to clock in and go home.
Barb reaches him and, a little shy about approaching the wolf, plucks up the courage and thanks him for dressing up as a sheep for her. She found it a very sweet gesture, as the other sheep have always avoided her because she has black fur and behaves differently from the rest of the flock... and to repay him, she gives him a drawing of the wolf's face.

The continuation of my story based on the movie Coyote vs. Acme from the perspective of my character, Katherine Slyfox (Part 18).

The next day, Katherine, after leaving the motel with the promise of publishing the article officially accusing Wile and Coyote of being used as guinea pigs by Acme for years, when the fox entered the newsroom, she immediately noticed that something strange was in the air. She saw her boss, Mr. Anderson, who was upset, telling him that Acme lawyer Buddy Crane had arrived in his office and wanted to be interviewed by her. Katherine entered believing that perhaps Buddy Crane would actually reveal everything in his interview, both about the Sisyphus Project and Wile's guinea pig protocol. However, the reality was quite different from what the fox imagined. Lawyer Crane had actually set a trap for her, and not only that... he had her pendant and now knew her true identity......

I'm reposting this drawing on another Looney Tunes oc x canon ship, about Ralph Wolf and Barb Black Sheep.

Ralph falls in love with Barb, the black sheep of the flock who she loves to paint.
Ralph dresses up as a sheep to court her, but Sam finds out and slaps him.

The continuation of my story based on the movie Coyote vs. Acme from the perspective of my character, Katherine Slyfox (Part 17).

Wile was blinded by rage and, for a moment, had forgotten about the trial, ready to go out with a box of dynamite ready to blow up the entire ACME building.

Katherine momentarily saw in Wile the same spark of revenge her brother Robert had years ago before condemning his family to prison forever and his desperate escape.
The fox didn't want to lose him too and stopped him by suddenly hugging him.

Katherine tearfully told Wile that revenge is never the best path to take; if he did, he would go to prison, and that he must continue his fight in court.

Then, with a trembling voice, I'll tell him her entire criminal past, that her real name is Katherine Slyfox, that she and her brothers were part of a criminal team, the Icarus Squad, and that her brother Robert, driven by revenge, condemned his entire family.
Now she didn't want to lose Wile too, telling him that she loves him and that she's on his side, and that for her, he's neither a guinea pig, nor a monster... but he was the her genius.

Wile is shocked by everything Katherine has just told him, but his anger has just subsided.

And the two share their first and long-awaited kiss, which encapsulates their love and hope for the future.

The continuation of my story based on the movie Coyote vs. Acme from the perspective of my character, Katherine Slyfox (Part 16).

Katherine, still shocked by the discovery of the Guinea Pig project on Wile and Coyote, goes to the motel where Coyote was staying to show what she had discovered.

Wile was also initially shocked, reading the various sheets printed by Katherine; he wasn't just a customer
but a real guinea pig and sacrificial victim, and his emotions transformed into blind rage: he intended to blow up Acme and exact revenge for the humiliations he had suffered for years.

I don't know how much Wile actually knows that he's a guinea pig like the other Looney Tunes. Let's just say that in my story, he didn't know it before this chapter, and that the defective products ACME was sending him were just a coincidence because he thought he was just their regular customer.

Anyway, you can finally find the complete story on AO3.
