#2026 #nyc #comiccon family tradition continues. I've been going since the first one in #2006. My kids have been going since #2010. I would bring them Friday to Sunday yearly, before scalpers were a problem and you could buy badges at various locations. Now you need FBI clearance to get a bad these days and prices are insane and I can barely make it through a couple if hours. All in all, good times!!!!! All about the memories! by @frank_trifecta

Last year I asked @amandahamilton8 if she knew of any cool music events abroad, she immediately suggested @defectedevents in Croatia.

She lied. The event wasn't good, it was great! #TisnoCroatia is a beautiful place and Defected Croatia was pretty much a homecoming but just overseas. I saw #dj and #music family I've known over 40 years along with so many others who I hadn't seen in years if not decades.
@natashadiggs @richmedina @louievega
@ananesworld @_christian_mantini_ @djjellybeanbenitez
@theshapeshifters @dennisferrerofficial @djtoddterry and @davidk1ss just to name an iconic few.

I also gained so many more comrades of music who I've since shared more musical journeys with across the world.
@lloydnwagboso @princewayne22 @davidramjamrodigan
@fabricioseraphin @riotashan @djalinerocha @milzzzey @lottssx and the whole Defected crew and dancers and everyone else's who's gram I don't know offhand. I was sad to hear that this year is the last Defected Festival in Croatia because I would suggest everyone experience both together. So I made this little video to give you a window into how great it was and I didn't do a 3rd of all the things going on.

So let's run it back this week for the Last Dance y'all, see y'all there!!!!!

I don't not own the rights to any of the music in this video for copyright purposes. by @frank_trifecta

I was rooting against a anti-indigenous and melenated country and a team with horrendous sportsmanship of Argentina.

Spain can kick rocks too for its colonizing of Americas and genocide of tens of millions of indigenous people. by @frank_trifecta

On this day you achieved yet another of your personal side quest in life, it is bittersweet that there was also family loss right before you were announced as the graduating class of #2026 but you know your father's mantra. To my Prom Queen.

I told her the world is yours, make your choices. She chose to graduate and set a higher bar than her parents at the same age. I hope her siblings rise to the challenge and they all build themselves into a formidable trinity of Thomas's. Thank you for choosing me to be your father, it has been an honor and a highly educational journey for me as well.

Love you

Keep going

From the looks of things, we're not long for this mortal coil. If that is the care, I'm curious as to who is the Bagman in this war and who thinks they are the Bagman in this war, and what will be left if things escalate further.

If you're not sure what a Bagman is, watch "The Way of the Gun". by @frank_trifecta

I've been in Lucumi since age 6 years old. Came up around all the folks considered elders in NYC, since the 70s.

I've known most of them before they made ocha or had an 'African' name.

Being an animal lover was my biggest reason for not wanting to make ocha for decades, but after 40 years of this life, I decided to do so.

It was the best and worst decision I ever made, if making Sango taught me nothing else, it taught me that people are people and Orisa are not Gods.

I am grateful for that very necessary but pain filled lesson. Let's walk a bit longer on this spinning rock Baba. I pray you help me learn some more pleasant lessons going forward.

Yours
Obatilemi by @frank_trifecta
