You just need the right person to believe in you more than you believe in yourself. That one relationship can completely transform your family’s legacy.

Raul…
I still can’t believe you’re gone, man.

You weren’t just my friend—you were my brother.
My coach. My biggest supporter.
The second most important and influential man in my life.

You were the one I would’ve asked to be godfather to my kids. No question.
That’s how much I trusted you, how much I looked up to you.

We ran together.
We hiked mountains.
We traveled the world.
We shared meals, deep conversations, endless laughs.
Every moment we spent together was meaningful—every single one.

You made me feel more confident about myself.
You had this way of making me better—without ever trying to outshine me.
You were wise, grounded, real.
You always spoke the truth—even when it was hard.

You saw things differently. You taught me how to slow down, zoom out, and see the bigger picture.
You never took anything personal. You never let the noise get to you.
You stayed solid—always.

I watched you become a father… and man, I saw your heart grow even more.
The way you loved and protected Darlene…
The way your whole face lit up when you saw Natalia for the first time.

You lived for others.
You built a life not just for yourself—but so everyone around you could rise too.

People didn’t always understand you.
Some judged you, labeled you, criticized you.
But they had no idea how many lives you impacted—quietly, humbly, powerfully.

You were just days away from speaking in front of 50,000 people.
Two packed-out arenas in Las Vegas.
You were finally about to get the spotlight you deserved…

But Raul—you didn’t need that stage to be a legend.
Because to me, you already were.

I miss you so much.
It hurts more than I can explain.

But I promise you this:
I will carry your legacy forward.
I will honor you in the way I live, lead, love, and serve.

You changed me forever.
And I will never stop telling the world about the man you were.

I love you, brother.
Thank you for everything. by @frankiegmoves

Six months from now, your family, your finances, your health, and your future can look completely different. But it starts with the decisions you make TODAY.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to stop waiting for the perfect time to get started.

Want to get in better shape? Start today.
Want to get your finances in order? Start today.
Want to be a better husband, wife, parent, or leader? Start today.
Want to build something that creates a better future for your family? Start today.

Small, consistent actions compound over time. The habits you build today become the life you live tomorrow.

As a husband, father of two girls, and business owner, I’m constantly reminded that what I do today impacts more than just me. My family is counting on the man I’m becoming, not just the goals I say I want to achieve.

That’s why I’m choosing discipline over excuses, consistency over motivation, and purpose over comfort.

Six months will pass either way. Make sure you have something to show for them.

If you’re working on becoming a better version of yourself, keep going. You’re not behind. You just have to start moving.

Let’s build something meaningful. 💯

6 main takeaways that I want to share with you 👇

- I can win and I can lead:
I realized that most of my life I was convinced that I’ve been better as a team player than a team leader. I proved to myself that I have what it takes to win and to lead!

- My daily choices reflect what is important to me:
I woke up earlier and stayed up later to log in my runs. I fueled my body properly, I rested well, hydrated, prepared, and recovered from my runs. I made some hard choices— I chose to run on a Saturday night instead of staying in and watching a whole movie with my family. Sunday morning, I got up from our breakfast table, left my family to go run 12 miles— it didn’t feel good in the moment but we celebrated the victory together

- Family will support me 100% when they know I’m serious about it:
My wife kept asking where I was on the leaders board and supported my runs. My daughter cheered me on, my parents and siblings encouraged and rooted for me. They knew what I was up to and they didn’t question it at all.. maybe my wife when I went running Saturday night at 11pm

- If I want to win, I must do things out of the ordinary:
I will do the crazy things that I wouldn’t do outside of the competition, such as running between 9pm and 11pm in Highland park through dark streets and over the suicide bridge in Pasadena. I woke up extra early to run and stayed up later to run. Every step counted.

- The fear of losing kept me going:
The feeling of not winning after all the time, sweat, energy and sacrifices was greater than anything else. I couldn’t afford to lose! I had already done so much and poured too much into it that I couldn’t lose!

- The quality of my life improved when chasing the number 1 spot:
Overall, I had the best energy throughout the day, I slept better, I focused more, I was more intentional with my time, I was less distracted by nonsense, I took better care of myself. It felt really good. I felt like an athlete taken in Pasadena, California by @frankiegmoves

Pay attention to the rooms you put yourself in.

One conversation can shift your perspective.
One introduction can open a door.
One room can change the trajectory of what you thought was possible.

LATINATUDE was full of people building, growing, leading, and genuinely excited about what’s next.

If you’re ambitious, stay close to people who make you think bigger. 🚀

The future belongs to people willing to get in the room.

I’m always looking to connect with people who are hungry for more…more growth, more impact, more ownership of their future.

If that sounds like you, we’ll probably end up in the same room eventually. 🤝

We all grew up hearing something about money.

Some of those lessons helped us.
Some quietly held us back.
Most of us never stopped to question them.

So I asked a few leaders one simple question:

“What’s one money lesson you learned growing up?”

The answers were honest, nostalgic, and surprisingly different.

The truth is, our financial future isn’t determined by what we were taught as kids…it’s determined by what we’re willing to learn as adults.

👇🏼 which one resonated with you the most?

And what’s one money lesson you heard growing up that still sticks with you today? by @frankiegmoves
