It’s been a week since I got this piece and I love it more and more every day. Huge shout out to @kevin__mcleod at @witchhousetattooferndale for bringing this to life. The green matches her eyes before they dulled with age and give my arm a vibe I can only describe as “Goosebumps-coded.” Absolutely worth skipping the pool for a few more weeks.

It’s been a rough year for pet loss, and having Tenda not only on my brain and my heart but on my body as well seems fitting.

My heart goes out to Frank and everyone else who had the opportunity to love Tendsfoot. She was my first cat friend and I'll always be grateful for the time we had together. by @franktweets

Tendafoot was as scrappy as you’d expect a kitten pulled from the mouth of a dog to be. She put up with a camera in her face and a variety of hats and costumes and in return got me through a number of moves and our first pandemic. For the last 12 years, she made sure I never slept alone for at least part of the night. She loved hopping on camera during video calls, including as recently as my fantasy baseball draft on Monday.

She wasn’t always a fan of people who weren’t in her family, but she took to Emily instantly, turning her into a cat lover in the process. I’m so lucky to have had so much time to spend with them both the past few years.

We had to say goodbye today, 2 months shy of her 22nd birthday. The house will be too clean and too quiet without her.

If you came to her parties, gave her attention when you came over, or just admired her from afar, thank you. by @franktweets
