Classic season is done. After I finished my spring with Amstel Gold Race I gave the body the rest it deserved (it took even bit more with catching a cold, but I guess it's part of the game).

Cycling moves fast and the next adventure is just around the corner (🇪🇸👀), but I want to take a moment to look back. This spring is a memorable one. Obviously my Roubaix win and podium on Strade Bianche are standing out for me personally. But at the same time the commitment and hard work of the whole team (riders and staff) towards one goal was inspiring. That we could celebrate many wins and podiums was the cherry on the cake 🫶

Now let's see what the next part of the season will bring 💫

Bit late to the party, but I needed some time to realised what happened last week: winner of PARIS ROUBAIX🔥
It is a race I truley love since the day it showed up on our race calender. It requires to stay sharp all day and you have not a second to relax. You need a perfect day to win it and we managed to make that possible.

Yes, we, because I wouldn't have been able to do it all by myself. Starting with my teammates @amber.kraak and @jadewiel sacrificing working hard to get us safe and in front over the first cobble sections and later @elise_chabbey and @celia.gery protecting my breakaway from the group behind. Track queen @vittoriaguazzini shared her knowledge with me how to sprint on a track.

@larsboom85 you knew it already last week and with your believe it made me fly.
Nico, you visualised the final with me for a long time and you even gave me confidence by loosing against me in my activation sprint. Both of you guided me calmly through the chaos.

No puncture, no dropped chain, no blisters. @iamspecialized my Tarmac SL8 was just flying over the cobbles. It's been well maintained by our amazing crew of mechanics (sorry I brought my training bike dirty, I hope that victory makes up for it ;)

And we had 20 cobble sections with feed and wheels after every single one of them. THIS is a team race.
Thank you to every single helping hand and I am sorry I can't mention all of you, but I truly appreciate your work!

@rileypickrell you will hate me for that, but it wouldn't have been possible without you either. Thanks for always having my back; even when I am hangry. I love you xx

Franziska Koch wrote her name into the history books by smallest of margins at Paris-Roubaix 🤏❤️‍🔥 by @franzi_kc

European Champs done🇪🇺 not the race I was hoping for, but it seemed like I forgot my legs on the start ramp. So I suffered from the gun and I couldn't reach my normal level. But that's racing and the tough days shape the character. I fought to the line and that's sometimes all what matters 🫶

Last road race of this season done with an 8th at europeans 💫🇪🇺 I tried to escape inbetween the climbs, but unfortunately got caught back before the final climb. If you never try, you never know 🤗

Now we switch to the TT bike for the last dance on Wednesday in the Individual Time Trail 🔥

10th at the World Champs Road Race 🇨🇦🌈
Of course I dreamed for a bit more, but I can be happy with the race I did. I went a bit too deep trying to follow the attack with 3 laps to go and found myself chasing alone for the rest of the race. But it was easy to keep pushing with the amazing crowds cheering us over the roads of Montreal.
Huge congrats to the well deserved new world champ @demivollering and her dutch squad 🌈🔥

@germancycling_com did an amazing job taking care of us during those championship and I am excited to put on the national jersey already next weekend 🇪🇺

🥉BRONZE MEDAL AT THE ITT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 🥹

It is called an individual time trail, but you need a team to achieve this. I wouldn't be there with lots of people working super hard in the background.
I can't name them all, but I want to start with @flaviensnn You got me in the right shape (thanks for all the suffer sessions) and guiding me so well through the course, like I could have ridden it with closed eyes.
@iamspecialized and @fdj_suez setting me up with the fastest material and off course the whole squad of @germancycling_com for supporting me the best possible way for the whole trip here in Canada 🇨🇦
A day I will remember for sure💫
