Belgium has really good pastries and waffles!!! This one is seriously heavenly. Airy, fluffy deliciousness. I really have not had Belgium waffles until now. I see them in Germany 'Belgium waffles', but they looked clunky, heavy and sweet. A WHOLE meal, coz after that you are full.This waffle makes just a delightful afternoon snack pause. U have a good picker upper, rest your tired feet and then ready to move on. I was also lucky, the days spent there I have a fluffy buttery croissant for breakfast, French influence. Reminded me of the time i was in Paris and i had croissant every morning. Beer on the rocks! I have never had beer with ice cubes. Liefmans tastes really good, especially on a sunny summer's day.At lunch we didn't want a big lunch so we ordered Bitterballen. I didn't realised they have them here too in Belgium. So it is not just me admiring this Dumon Chocolatier building. This guy beat me to it :) They have a few more shops around the city but this one is the iconic building. Inside has AC to keep their chocolate cool. On a very hot day they closed at 2pm. I bought two packets of Sugar Free chocolates.
