A VERY SPECIAL #wildlifewednesday these are my 3 fav images from the wildlife safari. I really like the first one cause everybody has had a day where they went into work and everything went wrong and they dreamed of a simpler life like the animals have. Well as you can see from the first photo, animals got annoying things (flies) to deal with too. by @frazier_foto

This was taken along the north umpqua river in #oregon. I call it “FIRE” ALONG THE HILLSIDE. I believe it was the Archie creek fire that did this in 2020 and I mean no disrespect to anyone affected by that fire. Two salmon try in vain to get over the fish barrier dam on the feather river. Side note - I never thought about how hard it is to get a photo of a jumping fish until I tried it. Patiently waiting and hoping they jump in your zone and you can press the shutter fast enough. And this of course is with autofocus on. It’s made me think about how you can Google fish jumping on a lake and there’s many pics to choose from, but it probably took some poor guy or gal all day or several days to get that shot. by @frazier_foto
