New friends emerge from the starlight waters bonded by the pursuit:

After 72 hours and 42 lobsters, I smiled as tears of joy and gratitude filled my eyes as I steered the boat away from the battered and formidable cliffs of the west end of Catalina and set course for San Pedro. Lobster diving leaves hands torn and broken and I often dread plunging into the midnight sea, but every lobster I harvest reminds me why I heed the call.

I’m beyond thankful that I have friends that are always down for a maniacal mission such as this. Stoked to have hit some diving prs while learning from Max. Anaclappa provided us with some jumbo critters to harvest and excellent memories.
